Seems that a new Corona motherboard has been spotted in the wild.

Their nearly identical to the previous Corona boards except that they have a 64MB NAND to distinguish themselves from other Corona's

The two main changes in the new Mobo is the POSTbit that is missing.
This is used to get debug info from the CPU and is used in the RHG to determine if the console is glitched properly.
Some Russian hackers have removed the CPU to gain access to the point but this is not doable for people without reball stations.

The other is that some resistors are missing that are used to read/write the NAND and send i2c SDA/SCL transmissions.
This is simple to fix by bridging the points where the resistors should be.

Xecuter claimed they had glitched them fine using the cr3 pro.

    http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showpost.php?p=685413&postcount=29

CR3 pro was suppose to be using a completely different method, so maybe it does not need that point, or they found an alternative. Could also just be the usual, claim it, then when someone else does it, say we had it months ago etc.

Plenty of people offer reballs these days, so even if the only way is the lift method, will still be loads offering it. Reballs seem to be around £50 here, so maybe another £30-40 on top of that for glitching. Work out about the same as ps2 modding used to be when the no swap first came out.

Plenty of glitchable consoles out there anyway.

    Hmm indeed.
I don't think many people will go for a reball RGH tho.
    You know people these days.

When they can pirate, they will try to get everything for free and modding a console for more then 80 quid is to expensive for them.

    Aye indeed.
For what it's worth, the new Coronas are "glitchable" but will need to undergo several other steps before their fully glitched.

Yeah, people seem to want everything to be free and involve plugging in an sd card or usb stick these days.
People just need to accept modding is getting expensive. Not too far off that price with any of the slims.

If your below 15574 and just want to glitch it isn't too bad, but otherwise expenses soon rack up.

DG164S= Replacement pcb or effort to unlock + usb pro.
Hitachi or 1175 (below 15574). RGH+Xk3y/Xecuters pcb thing+ ihas, above 15574 and you can throw the DGX in as well for cpu key retrieval.

Days of cheap and minimal effort are long gone :( & people just need to accept it.

    Aye I so agree.

And with the amount of attention whores on YT that provide false info on hacking + the billions and billions of R4 Clone cards.
Not even to speak about all the false info that noobs and idiots spread.
    Along with the rumours.

On one side of this, I like that hacking is going to be more expensive.
    Less noobs and less mistakes.
On the other hand, more noobs and more mistakes as they try to attempt it them selves.

I've had to undo some extremely damaged PCB's from dodgy soldering from the original MRA hack.
    And jTAG .__.

You do them for free? or is that just for here? I don't deal with other peoples stuff, so not fussed if more stuff gets damaged by people. Used to do a small amount for people I knew, but it just started getting out of hand with more and more stuff wanting to be done for free .

As for this new board, can't be bothered to find the posts now, too late here, but read a few post now saying no need to reball. Ball is one of the edge ones, so can just slide a thin piece of wire to it and solder as normal. Still not something easy (compared to older points), but easier than a reball and able to be done by those without the equipment needed for one.

I only do installs for free on here.
The rest of the people can pay me ofcourse since I'm not someone that fucks up me entire evening to fix someones mistake lol

Yeh I once had 8 360's that needed an MRA hack.
And 2 of them where failed jobs.
Spend me entire Saturday evening and night fixing it and getting keys from the drives.

Yeah I was thinking the same way at first.
However I can see people fucking this up.
It doesn't take a whole lot to accidentally bridge it ;p
