There is no Interpreter let alone a dynarec lol but who knows what the future holds it just by then everything will be available on ur pc in one place.

Yeah pretty much, the dude who was working on dynarec, simias, decided he could "no longer work on porting it" which I call bullshit. This is what I've read on GitHub anyway.

Edit: They're offering that someone else can take over the porting work, yeah right, like anyone is going to work on Wii U homebrew. I blame the Switch devs.

@twinaphex FYI I have been working fairly seriously on this with some help from @simias over the past few weeks. I have made some good progress, bios screen and PS Logo screen works, sound works. It's my first time working on an emulator, but it has been fun so far, and I plan to see it through to completion.

Hello,
I want to activate shaders on retroarch wii u, but i don't have settings menu on xmb, in fact no settings at all, i.e controls mapping etc...
Maybe an option in some config file ?

Need some help !

Hi I was wondering if retroarch can run nesicaxlive games. I want to play persona 4 arena Ultimax on my wii u and was just curious thanks!

And thanks twinaphex, libretro, and others who were generous enough to back up that project!

No sorry it's very far from doing that. That nesicaxlive is a powerful hardware compared to wiiu and besides they have much different architecture.

I just saw recent posts on GitHub, the dynarec he's porting over sounds freaking amazing, the games seem to run at 200 fps when using an uncapped framerate. So this is very very good indeed...
That's amazing :)
As always, my friend, time brings forth great things to those that are patient.
I'm glad this is being worked on again :D

I know, I know, I get it :P This gives me a reason to start using my Wii U again, hope it works x3

Hi
My HDD with Y cable sometimes mounts on WIIU HAXCHI, sometimes not, and so retroarch don't have roms available. Tips ?

Ah ok. Oh well thank you for your assistance anyway.

Did you try another Y cable? For Retroarch it's preferable to put roms on SD card.

FRENCH: Quel est ton problème? Peut être qu'il faut tester avec un autre Y câble? Pour Retroarch: il faut mettre les roms de préférence sur ta carte SD.

My main reason for being interested in PS1 on the wii u is to play it on the gamepad and to also have the 2-4 player games I wanna play easily available with wireless controllers. Do you think we would get netplay for this in the future?

I'd rather we get stable speed and dynarec first then maybe

Hey, so I tried getting this working again, and it does for the most part, but after playing with it again I'm reminded why I start tearing my hair out and get annoyed by all the idiosyncrasies and ultimately give up and forget about it again after hours of messing with it. How I miss the GX emulators.

Anyways, so it works mostly, I just updated to the latest stable version, however it seems to always loads "1.7.7 - DOSBox 0.74" core. If I load a different core manually it still shows DOS box in core information.

Also for some reason if I load SNES9X it's showing '1.7.2 - Snes9x 1.54.1' I'm assuming 1.7.2 is supposed to be the retroarch version? Though it seems to differ between cores? Maybe that's not it then.

Is there a way to clear out the default core, so it just loads with 'No Core'. Also when loading cores from the history or favorites, it'll always load with DOSBox, rather than with the associated core; is my config just messed up and I should nuke it and start over?

It's ok now, it was the way that i launch retrolauncher (embedded with haxchi program, holding a button). Now with a clean haxchi install, and lanching retrolauncher within HBL it's fine.
