Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

I bought an M30 8BitDo gamepad. Can I use the config files here https://github.com/libretro/retroarch-joypad-autoconfig/tree/master/udev to get the Wii U to see it if I use it as wired connection?

Can anyone give me a quick guide to setting it up..

Okay i'm bit dumb, cause i try updating scummvm_libretro within archretro (frontend xmb..), i'had some hope that there will be an up to date version. But now this core is f...ed up. Other ones work like a charm (snes, md, etc...).

I would to make working MT-32 emulation cause it was choppy and clicky, but ther is unsolvable problems obviously on this unofficial port of scummvm

Some have idea to making this core working again ?

I use the playlist generator to download my thumbnails but in the app don't show them. Anyone has any luck with that?

Hello Guys,

This guide has been awesome, and after hours/days/ going on week 2. I have finally got the playlist loading with the correct icons for each system. The problem is FOR THE LIFE OF ME. I can not get Box Art to load. Please any help guys. I am on retroarch 1.7.8

Boxarts and snaps files must have the EXACT name of the game name in playlist.lpl. That's why Playlist buddy generate playlists with roms and thumbnail from their respective directory

I know the photo for the thumbnails show the pic name.gba but I was just hoping that might of fixed it lol, long shot. I has been removed. Its just Breath of Fire (USA)

Some interesting news : Beetle PSX Dynarec – Accurate PlayStation1 emulation is about to become a lot faster!

If dynarec is ported to PowerPC, Beetle PS1 core on Wii U will run much faster!

I am attaching the First .lpl that was made by file buddy, and overwritten by retro arch when I scanned for files. Second is the latest File buddy LPL I made. Thanks for the help man. I was looking all through this thread and on page 365 someone was in the same boat as me and got it working, but unfortunately never said what he changed lol.

Did u forget use mooch first or make sure sd card is in Wii U

After i launch retroarch, it boots straight back to the wii u menu.

H:\wiiu\apps\retroarch

Deleted the retroarch.cfg and it boots to a black screen with looping music that never stops.

This is a constant issue and i know it can't be just me. others have to be experiencing this.

This is on a fresh install at that!

3DS is getting FULL SPEED PSX and Wii U which is 1000000 times more powerful cant get anything. This is so frustrating.
