What is the best for old3ds CIA or hbl?because i have themehax since 1 hour
On an Old 3DS is doesn't really matter - they should be identical. The only exceptions are the games that uses dynarec - in this case, they will be faster as .cia.

If your firmware is 9.3 or above, your only option is HBL anyway. If you are running 9.2 or bwloe, consider installing a CFW such as rxTools.

You need to put in bold "on N3DS" unless you want to bait certain users.

...although I'd debate Neo Geo being 'absolutely brilliant'. What it runs, it runs near perfectly on n3ds (you could say 'absolutely brilliantly'), but my best guess is that it's only able to run somewhere between 50-75% of the available romset at all. The other 25-50% won't even boot and freeze the system requiring the power button to be held down.
The roms I test for each new build are garou, svc, kof99 - so far no progress on any of them. If anyone else gets them working, please advise how.

Hmm. Have you tried the latest version? I have 50 games. 45 of them works! :)

I see a lot of angry o3ds users here, complaining about support. Come on guys, we don't have a official release yet. There is a lot of things the devs have to do until a release. The nightlies is a way to show the progress to the community. You cant cry because an emulator runs better in n3ds than o3ds, because n3ds have a better hw and everything will work better on it. Its like crying because Xenoblade doesnt run on o3ds. The good thing is almost everu dev has a o3ds, but you have to deal with there will be some emulators that only will be playable enough on a n3ds.

O3DSnazis? Seriously?

I have an O3DS, but I totally agreed with you! (Except on "O3DSNazis" word!)

Agree on all points. We have all these emulators working on N3DS and it's only an alpha. It's only a matter of time until the porting process is finished and devs start trying to optimize the emulators so they run decently on O3DS.

O3DSnazis was not funny and uncalled for though.

If that's the case, wouldn't supporting and working on o3DS emulators be kind of pointless then, if said emulators are at a stalemate on older hardware?

Welp, I'm an o3DS owner, but I am not angry. Instead, I'm hoping to find ways to use the GPU in a more automated way to improve performance in blargSNES further, and then whoever can understand what I did, and understands CATSFC could try to implement mine and StapleButter's GPU stuff into it so all could benefit, and not just with SNES emulators, but any that could benefit from GPU usage with adjustments and whatnot.

Anyone got information on compiling to a CIA? The source stuff should be easy, actually building this thing is really irritating.

A good perspective, I just wish I knew more about programming, but it would be interesting to see how it could be implemented in other emulators for speed boosts and all that. Right now I'm contemplating an O3DS or N3DS, the only caveat is O3DS might never achieve semi-decent for emulators outside the 8/16-bit era. The real question is, can these emulators be even more optimized for older models of the 3DS?
