Hey, everyone.

Been lurking for some time but finally decided to make an account here and contribute with some Retroarch feedback

I've used Retroarch on iOS, Android, and Wii for a while now, so hopefully I can help out some! Also should mention I'm running everything on o3DS.
QuickNES:
-I've noticed that some games won't load at all (examples: Punch Out and Kirby's Adventure). I'm thinking it might be an unsupported mapper issue with QuickNES? Not sure about what mappers QuickNES itself supports, though, btw, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the reason why some games aren't loading.
edit: just tried the QuickNES core on Retroarch Wii with Punch Out and got the same results

-In addition, it also seems like the left/right screen edges might be cropped (Castlevania displays "layer" and "nemy" instead of "player" and "enemy", for example).
Genesis Plus GX:
-I guess it should also be mentioned that the emulator also supports SG-1000 games too!

I've only tried Pitfall II, but SG-1000 should be running full speed or close enough (I think it went as low as 55fps) on o3DS, just like Master System and Game Gear games.
-Speaking of frame rate drops, I read earlier in the thread that some people were experiencing 50fps in some Master System games. That actually happens with some USA/Europe region Master System games in other emulators, as they default to the PAL50 frame rate for some reason (examples I've encountered include Space Harrier US version and Sonic 1 and 2). Dunno why it does that, but using Japan region versions of those games is a workaround for that issue. Japan region games will play at 60fps.
-Also, not sure if anyone else has mentioned this yet, but disabling the FM sound unit also gives a speed increase in certain games too!
I'll post anything else I find, but so far, I like how Retroarch 3DS is shaping up!
