@SeongGino just looked over the OP and seeing as it hasn't been updated since Sunday... Is psx rearmed working yet?

Probably not; again, we'd hear something from the Libretro team by this point if it DID work; and even then, it's not recommended to use until Dynarec's been implemented fully anyways.

Having a lot of fun with retroarch on my vita. I've messed with emulators for years, but mostly for NES and SNES games I had when I was younger. My first time diving into the hectic mess off CPS1/2, neo geo, and mame. Cps1/2 and neo geo roms seem to work great with fbalpha2012 but some i have had some troubles with. Spent a good ammount of time trying to find a street fighter 3rd strike rom that would work, and finally did, but it's pretty slow at 30-45 fps. Anyone one have any success with that game running yet or know any core tweaks that would help it run faster?

Also I can't get any of the cores to save my file browser directory. Saves it saves but after you close the core it reverts to default automatically.

Ok ok...last question. I know it's very early to jump to conclusions, but will multiplayer on retroarch for vita be possible in the future? Much respect to the guys making this stuff happen for the vita. My girlfriend might not be happy with me being glued to it..but I sure am :grog:

I've been trying to get the FB Alpha 2012 core working although I've tried others. But everyone I try does this when trying to open the application:

I'm using the latest HENKaku and installing the latest vpk files from libretro. Any idea what I'm doing wrong that causes this to occur?

Bummer! That's the core I've been using the most. I believe the nightly I'm using is 9/3. I would try deleting your fbalpha bubble and connecting your vita to whichever ftp client you use and delete all those error messages you see in uxo:/data/ and try installing a different fbalpha core. It has been working great for me for nearly every cps1, cps2, and neo geo rom I've thrown at it. Some mame like tmnt and Simpsons work..but I haven't had much success with other mame roms.

Goodluck. I hope you get it to work cause it's a lot of fun playing these retro arcade games

Same here fbalpha crashes ...let me know if this method works ... i'd like some SF3
Too
Sf 3rd strike runs with fba2012 but it is around 30-45 fps. Cps2 fighters like marvel vs capcom and xmen vs sf run great though.

I'm hoping someone knows how to get ninja baseball bat man to run!

well ive got plenty of cps1 & even more cps2 roms working perfectly inc sf alpha 123
marvel vs sf xmen vs sf.. ect ect im loving it too... neg geo works fine also

fbalpha crashes ever time :( i will wait for a update i guess

That's odd. Fba2012 is the core that I use the most and seems to work great. I'd try a different version fba core. If you've gotten those games to work I'm assuming you have the neogeo bios in the rom directory?

yeah neo geo work fine ! cps1&2 also perfect just no joy with sf3rd

I had to dl the rom from a couple different sites before I got it to boot. The one I'm trying to make run better doesn't need the Chd files and is about 80mb. Curious to see if we can get that game running perfect once dynarec support is coded in.

I'm losing my patience with these emulators. On random occasions they'll just decide, "Nope, I'm not gonna take any input from this jerk," and I sit there waggling the D-pad in desperation, to no avail. Sometimes deleting the RetroArch.cfg file, or the RetroArch folder will right the sinking ship, but lately, RetroArch just starts and sits there ignoring my input, and no amount of file and folder deletions will fix it. What is going on here? What do I need to make these work consistently? I will do it, if I know what it is.

Man...that sucks. Been having nothing but good times from nes, snes, sega, and fbalpha retroarch emulators. Maybe try a different nightly? Hope you get it running

I'm wondering if my Vita's wonky right thumbstick (it pulls down-left all the time) might be at fault. I don't remember if I ever had this problem with the PSTV or not, but it happens all the time on the Vita. Also, saving the configuration during use seems to be a bad idea; it seems to have triggered the problem in the past.
