I figure I'd come in here and ask a silly question. Again, the Windows version, but what I was wondering was how to get Sega CD audio to work. The stuff coded into the ISO works fine, but the extra tracks are not recognized by RetroArch whereas if I play it in Kega Fusion, the audio is picked up. Does it have to be formatted in a certain way?

BIN/CUE works perfect for me. Not problems at all. Sounds great. Plays great. Full speed at all time (at least the games I have tested so far).
The standalone GenPlus GX can support ISO/MP3 (encoded at 128 Kbps). Not sure about GenPlus GX for RetroArch.
Also, I recommend you to look for quality images only. Images that hadn't been ripped apart and down-sampled to MP3.
Here is an example of what the CUE sheet of Sonic CD should look like:

tharrier works again, and mwalkbl.zip (requires mwalk.zip) also works. Both added to the compatibility list, thanks AntonioJosedeSou!

Should the CUE to the EU/JP version be similar? Most of the time listings for INDEX 00 are 00:00:00 and INDEX 01 are 00:02:00..

I just checked it and it gives me an error. It was working previously, so that means i have to update my rom for this particular game. BTW mwalk is reported to work however i haven't found a working rom yet. Anyone who has one, pm me please.
I got mine to work by merging the tharrier.zip 1.23 mb with the JAP version that contains the missing roms files from the previous.
FBA PC validates the rom image afterward and works on Wii also, minor Graphic glitsches of enemy aircraft.

mwalk doesn't even work in FBA for PC. So that report must be wrong.
You need to load the child rom mwalkbl (Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (bootleg)) to play that game.
It seems to work fine. Just played it for couple minutes.

BTW, anyone knows where in heaven I need to put the samples folder?
I have tried:

retroarch/samples
retroarch/system/samples
fba/roms/samples

None seems to work. :/
nvm

No need, i just found the rom from another source that worked. However that advice could be useful to anyone who has issues with the game so, good to know!

The rewind feature doesn't work when you change the rom. You have to reset the core again for it to work. Is this a bug?

This is not a bug - this is part of the design.

Really, I should have just not added rewinding support anyways since the Wii can't handle most cores at fullspeed with it enabled anyway and I get tons of bogus 'bug reports' from people who don't understand why rewinding would make things 2 to 3 times slower.

Just to make it clear, when i enable rewind and reset the core, it works. Only when I change the game (of the same core), it doesn't work. I have to reset the core every time i change roms to get the rewind feature.

I'm glad you implemented the rewind feature. Its very entertaining seeing and hearing everything in reverse.

I got a classic controller pro because of retroarch and i just discovered the fastforward feature. Nice

Well, they should run. I don't have a Gamecube to confirm it though. Only a Nintendo Wii.
Anyways, the CD image should be in BIN/CUE format (I don't know if other formats are supported: ISO/MP3? or ISO/WAV?).
And you should have the bios file renamed syscard3.pce in the system folder of RetroArch.

That's it, you load the cue file and the game should work fine. I have tested Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (Super CD2) and works perfect!!!
Also, make sure you have a good image of the game. This is how the CUE sheet for Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo should look like:

The best software I have tried is IsoBuster. Very fast and simple to use.
Also, It keeps the right lba for each track. Something that most similar programs fail to do.

I just noticed something, when two controllers are recognised (I have two normal Classic Controllers) and you restart RetroArch, it re-registered player 2 as player one on start up.

Just thought I would re-post this issue in case it got lost.
