Good. We got that one fixed then.

Going to push out the new release now.

Glad to have been able to help confirm. :P What's going to be in the intermediary release?

Edit: Never mind, just saw it. Excellent work as usual.

What does "More natural way to switch between cores" entail?

it means it restarts automatically after switching cores now, no more manual restart needed

Thank you!

Still missing the gameboy and psp native resolutions ....
Also why would you want to change the gen gx sound to 48khz?
Is there any benefit going beyond cd Quality? Aside from 48Khz being the video standard nowadays?
Would this have something to do with the frame rate?
Just curious.

That I like! :P That means the likelihood of getting a code dump when changing codes is neutralized! Before, sometime the program would crash during the transition, but now this system in place, there won't be any issues.

Try loading about 10~ 15 roms after each other....

Also no way to test the cps2.dol for me, downloaded zip is corrupted.
CRC fails.
Could this be fixed?

The Zip wasn't corrupted when I downloaded it. Weird. What do you mean by 10-15 ROMs, as in constantly spamming the core change? I'm really confused. Are you saying the new automatic resetting doesn't work or what?

Maybe these questions are already answered but can't find the answers, so I ask...
* How can I change Neo Geo Pocket region? Games run always in japanese mode.
* Virtual Boy runs very slow compared to WiiMednafen (which is playable). I thought it was based on the same core as Mednafen. Am I doing something wrong?
* Are Super Game Boy borders supported? I can't find an option for them.

Thank you! :)

I got a couple of questions here can someone from the team answer them plz :
1. I was wondering will a arcade stick work with Retroarch? for the arcade games it would be absolutely fantastic...like one of those Tatsunoko vs Capcom pads? and if not is that a possibility? think about how awesome that would be to rock a gamepad playing some old school arcade games.
2. Will there ever be a PSP version of Retroarch? kind of odd there isin't one currently considering its on like every other platform, a PSP version would be amazing considering the state of emulation on the PSP.
3.What is the need for two NES emulator cores? FCEUMM & Nestopia are both NES emulators am i wrong?

Thank you for the update by the way! Way to go!!

Tested CPS2.dol so far works like a charm, is it normal that my settings don't save (Resolution, ratio, game dificulty, and freeplay toggle)

No I meant you'll get lock ups in an infrequently fashion if you test a lot of games after each other, I'm not talking about core switching.
You said you had problems sometimes when switching cores, I've not had any problems on that matter. Could you explain?

Try redownloading the pack, i;d like to know if the downloaded zip still has errors.
EDIT: Seems the files are OK now, could be a file hosting problem.

@ devs: What exactly was fixed for the PCE core?
The same horrible gfx issues are stil present. Check R-Type ( U ) for instance.

"[Mednafen PC Engine Fast] Fixed libretro issue where certain games
had totally wrong pitch "?

Thanks for the update. The auto restart on switching cores is something I had been looking for and it works like a dream! Nice to see the native res for Neo Geo supported also. Great work!

Edit: switching to the full FBA core still prompts you to restart the application instead of auto restarting like on other cores.

Yup, and there's much more broken...

Oh, oops, sorry for misreading, I wasn't sure what you meant at first. :shy:
