How do you use it? I used it once, about 9 months ago and it worked, and now can't for the life of me remember how I did it!!

I made a fork on my github where you can not only do all of the things from the original app, but you can also start/stop the play timer, and view your own parental controls pin.

I've seen a few people ask how to remove parental controls when they don't have the pin, or on a firmware that requires the device ID to get the master key using the mkey.salthax website.

Thank you very much. I need parental controls for one of my children. I had already paired to the app before i created Emummc, and could not change the pin number. This worked perfectly.

Now if only there was a way I could whitelist apps too ....

If the tool doesn't work any longer and I suspect it doesn't.
Also I think you can't "view it" sadly.

It does still work (I also found this surprising). There is a fork which was linked above on this page which I recommend everyone should use instead

What i am aiming to do is remove parental controls from OFW. Can i make an emunand, and somehow get the parental control code, and use the code on OFW to remove parental control?
HOS 17.0 . Cant get inquiry /serial code when pressing + on parental control pin window.

On top of that this app is outdated and support was discontinued years ago, retrieving pin code never worked.

This thread just saved my money. I ordered a used Switch V2 and the seller sent me a Parental Lock switch. I have just removed its lock by using Reset Parental Controls by @TotalJustice and @MCMi460.

Im also coming back with an update. I used DBI function of resseting parental control, then i did a systemwipe on sysmmc in tegraexplorer

Maybe not duplicate your question twice. But yes, DBI Installer works on both Sys and EmuNAND.

you can delete the parental controls on 16.0.3 but you can`t change the pin
