--Setup--
Console: NTSC-U (v3.1U)
Chip: Wiikey 1.9g (region override on / 3x read speed)
--steps taken--
1) Burned DVD5 version without any patching. (sony DVD-R 2x)
2) did the 15% trick, unplugged a tiny bit after the "w" in Power.
3) Repaired DVD9 files using QuickPar.
4) Burned the DVD9 with these settings;
- Drive: Matshita UJ-840D (firmware v1.02)
- Program: ImgBurn v2.3.2.0
- Media: Verbatim DVD+R DL (made in Singapore)
- Burn speed: 2.4x
- ISO Patching: only did the new Brick blocker patch. (no regionfrii)
--results--
DVD5: read the disc without problem.
15% trick: No duplicate channels / oddities of any sort.
DVD9: read the disc without problem/hesitation. no errors as of yet. (I just watched the opening movie to see if movies work).
Will update if I find anything else, but I hope this helps someone
I'm kind of surprised that everything worked on the first try... guess it pays to do your homework
