Replace DSi stage 2 bootloader

I've been trying to get a few prototype stage 2 bootloaders from the gigaleaks (search for *.nand files) to boot. I tried taking the new bootloader and pasting it into the NAND dump starting at 0x200. I just get a white screen on boot.

Judging by source code in TwlIPL I can 100% guarantee that this is actually a stage 2 bootloader. Can't find any reason there why they wouldn't work. I've tried bootloaders from before and after the release version, and some print test bootloaders with no luck. Also installed a prod version that is pretty close to release (2665-9336 vs 2435-8325).

Any ideas why it isn't working?

Oh and random fun fact, release version is 2435-8325 but there's a 2869-10333. Why?

Figured out why this wasn't working. Most prototype bootloaders seem to have some sort of dev signing. So the solution is just find a bootloader with retail signing.

Overwrite the old bootloader starting at 0x200 and you should be fine. Tested on real hardware so I can guarantee it works!

A friend and I were trying to get some prototype firmware to boot. We thought maybe a different bootloader would work.

Haven't tested with a retail bootloader yet so hopefully that works well enough.
