I got my first DS and reading this dude's posts are both terrifying and interesting...
Experimenting. This NAND was created from scratch, with the only unique data being the CID, ConsoleID, and HWInfo (though HWInfo is not really necessary). It boots on real hardware too.
Praying that the RAM shortage will make web devs create less bloated websites. No need for a single tab to eat up 300mb.

I forgot to post this purchase. The 14th north american DSi dev unit produced! The shell is european, but the serial number and firmware are american. Could just be using whatever shells they had on hand.

I love computer games. Download a 17gb update, unpack a 17gb update, get another 10gb download, find out that files are broken so I have to verify and repair the entire 60gb game, retry the 10gb download, stuck on verifying the failed download, retry the 10gb download AGAIN, network error, close the computer, curl into a ball, cry.
I love archival. Until I have a billion windows open in an old apple emulator. But seeing this 1995 article today was an interesting surprise. Would definitely recommend giving it a read to see how computers and neural nets used to be thought of.
