Hacking Remove files from WAD folder?

My Wii is soft-modded and everything is working ok.

Is it safe to clean up my SD card by removing some files from the WAD folder, e.g:

cIOS202[38]-v65535.wad
cIOS249-v17.wad
IOS70-64-v6687[TB+ES_diV+NAND].wad

etc etc

If you already installed the wads then yes. you no longer need them.

u wont need those files unless u need to hack, or re-hack, the wii or another wii
