just a quick question, you guys have 4 levels each world, but i mean, the new super mario bros worlds do have more levels, how do you guys fix that?

I believe they are going to add The Lost Levels aswell.

The music is being decided on now, we know how to do it and we have people to do it, We just hav'nt done it yet. We still need to decide on a final name too.

Well here's a crazy idea, that i think all the kids are doing these days. Why not call it .... wait for it....
Super Mario Bros.

It's GENIOUS!!

You could just replace the NEW in NEW Super Mario Bros and make it RETRO Super Mario Bros.

"Old" sounds bad, "retro" is overused.

get "Partition Bin Changer", extract the games "partition.bin" using "WiiScrubber" and load it in "Partition Bin Changer" and edit as needed

We have a few suggestions for a name, we have a poll on the forum. We are NOT using OLD, as a different team over at wiiso are calling their version that. (From what can be seen on that site, our version will be much better

)

Also the ID's will be solved when we release.

Okay, I tested all you had for the project...

Findings
1-2: Generated platforms at the end too small. What's the point of the Warp Zone?
1-3: You couldn't jump through the platforms in the original
2-2: Why this music? Should be the underwater one
2-3: Tileset is glitched up beyod belief.
4-3: The platform mushrooms in the original were red
6-3: (I think - the 1-3 with bullet bills) Why the hell are the platforms mushrooms now?
7-3: Glitchey tilesets FTW
8-2: Zooming is screwed up (zone too small), all enemies and objects dissappear, camera issues)
8-3: Weird bg
One of the castle bosses didn't fall into the lava, he just stayed half-submerged into it.
Two castles didn't have the "Princess in in the other castle" message.
I forget which ones tho.

Overall, my impressions:
Some levels take about 30 seconds to complete.
Not even kidding here. The game is too easy (only hard level - sorta - is 8-3).
It would be more interesting if Star Coins were added. Would make a play of this worthwhile.

Is there any way to play this without manually replacing each and every file? Maybe even like a program that batch replaces everything for you? It's kinda inconvenient right now.
