The CRC is correct ( winzip tells you the CRC ) so the dump I got was fine. I am not concerned that the game does not work as it does not look to be that good anyway, I am only concerned that its the first game I have come across that does not work on the R4 which up till now has worked perfectly. The reason I raised the question is not to say my god my god card does not work, end of the world etc, It was to make sure the dump was correct and if it was so I would post the details of the non working game on the R4 forums so they can investigate it, and fix it, and therefore make the R4 more compatible in the future.

Strange, considering it works perfectly in no$gba. I don't know about the R4, but does it support EEPROM 0.5Kb saving? Cause that's what the game uses from my testing.

Hate to tripple post like this but I just tried it on no$gba and it doesent work on there either, same message ! All I can say is...... Er ?

There was some other obscure game that came out and had an issue with R4's....the R4 team quickly released a patch to fix the problem. My guess is that if it's possible to fix Tennis Masters with an update, the R4 team will get on it.
Castlevania PoR just requires a fast microSD card to run. As for Tony Hawk.....I don't know....never played it.

When I said Tennis Masters was an OK tennis game, I meant that it's playable as a game (on my SCminiSD), I was able to win a few matches.

The game is VERY bare-bones. It trims to about 2.5MB.

It ain't no graphics powerhouse (many palette swaps). This game REEKS of GBA-quick-convert-to-DS type of game to me....a GBA+ game. I imagine we'll see a few more such games since GBA is dead and the developers spent so much time on these little games like this anyway.....

Heh...maybe it is it's GBA+ness that makes it not work on R4.

Make sure after you change the save type to go back into the menu and choose to save setting. Trust me, no$gba works, that's how I got those screenshots that I included with the release.

FYI: Japanese saves work on the the US Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.

Same for Kirby Squeak Squad.

Man... I am SO glad the big GBA>DS port "binge" is largely over. Hopefully that'll meet it's end on a positive note, Phoenix Wright of course.

I was surprised that the game was mildly entertaining lol. Gba-ish graphics but the game is actually more fun than Nadal and 2k Tennis.

Picross DS (E) Does not work for me!

I got to the load up screen that says Nintendo on the top and Jupiter on the botton and then it just stays there. I tried pressing start, touching the screen but nothing happens.

I am using a R4 DS!!!

Am I the only one? How can I fix this? I already downloaded 3 versions of the game and none of them will get pass the load up screen

Are you using a really old version of the R4 kernel? That same thing happened with the Japanese version, but it was fixed in an update a long time ago.

BTW, it wasn't actually freezing, it just took nearly a minute to go past that screen.

I can confirm that Tennis Masters works on the X9 with no problems.

Have the mighty R4 and M3 DS failed at running this game? Are they falling behind the compitition? Only time will tell.....

I can't believe I've waited forever for the Puzzle Quest (E) and it only has English as a language. I thought all EU releases had other languages

I'm pretty sure these don't work either with M3 Simply or R4.

Are you using the last kernel/firmware? My R4 arrived two days ago and I can confirm that Picross works. I've only played the tutorial and didn't have any problem.

BTW, I didn't patched it.
