The comix zone game works fine. There may be some bugs when the girl talks to you on her face, but this bug is also present on the real game on Megadrive

Hey! So I have an existing save file for Sonic 3 in my PC which I'd like to inject on m 3DS. Is there a way to do it regarding this forwarder? JKSM Save Manager doesn't seem to do it for me.

You have to place the save in the retroarch save folder (don't remember the full path), as the save is not stored in the title itself.

I heard that somebody on that Chaos site made Master System and Sega CD forwarders just by using this program with Master System ROMs and Sega CD ISOs, how did he do that?

Some games like Sonic the Hedgehog (1,2 or 3) have slowdown on Old3ds, and games like Decap Attack have problem with the button config ._.

I can confirm that this DOES work for Master System ROMs. You merely have to change the ROM extension from .sms to .bin for the program to load it. If OP could modify the forwarder-maker to accept .sms files, this step would not be necessary.

Alternately, please consider spinning off a separate Master System forwarder-maker. If it used a database of SMS games, it could automatically populate the title and images like it does for Genesis games. Then all you would need is a proper SMS banner image and it would be perfect.

Thank you for your work with these forwarders and injectors. They're incredibly useful.

Since Sega CD games are also .bin, can they work? IMO, probably not as they come with a .cue file and the forwarder-maker is not designed to work around these types of ROMs.

No, I just tried and although it created a .cia which installed correctly on my 3DS, it just crashed when I tried to run it. I'm not able to run either the .bin or .cue through picodrive directly either, so it could be that I have a bad dump, or the 3DS picodrive/retroarch port just doesn't handle sega CD yet. I didn't try with the other genesis core option in the forwarder, so I don't know if that would have better luck.

Try using a good dump first, and make sure that you have the Sega CD BIOS. If it doesn't work, try with the other Genesis core option. I don't know if Picodrive 3DS supports Sega CD yet.

Awesome work!

Is it possible for you to make a Master System one? I really want to play Wonderboy in Monster Land!

You can make Master System CIAs using this forwarder just by renaming any Master System ROM to ".bin" and using them in this forwarder. Simple as that.
