The only thing I'm going to do (hopefully this week) is get ScummVM working on their buildbot so releases can be packaged and released on the official site. Otherwise I won't get to this until freeShop is done. But I will get back to this, simply don't have enough time. I also made an initial port of ResidualVM (with extremely slow software renderer) I'd like to complete. I have a lot of things I'd like to work on, oh well...
Oh I don't mean to rush you, I was just wondering where the project stands as of now. Thanks for the lowdown.

Great! I managed to get the ScummVM 1.8.1 release to build but it crashed when closing the start and select menus in game so a working version would be nice. (probably something in my build environment)

Sounds good too. I expect that the 3D backend is a lot more work though.

Yeah, I'll have to make a renderer for the 3DS which will be most of the work, and even then I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it working on o3ds due to RAM limitation. But I only have an o3ds, so I'll try.

OMG u r trying to port ResidualVM? OMG my dreams came true

Does anyone happen to have a .3dsx of version 0.3 with the SCUMM HE and/or the Neverhood engines enabled? I am trying to compile the code but I am running into strange issues (not related to ScummVM) which is making things a lot more difficult, so I thought if someone has already compiled something and is willing to share or PM me that would save a lot of time.

Can you at least put something on the top screen in the main menu? Like, the logo on an orange background or something.

some little changes to the banner...

Hey there!

Maybe a bit of a stretch to ask this here but for some reason or another I cannot get Toonstruck to play using the 0.3 release. (.3dsx variant)

No matter where I put the toon.dat file it won't open :(

Is there anyone here that did get it working and that could post the details as to how this is done?

Thanks a million in advance!

I really wish him the best, he did a awesome job so far!
Can't wait for it to be merged to the main scummvm branch.
And if I knew anything about programming on 3DS, I would gladly help out :P

It would be great if someone continues this job...

I couldn't get the keyboard to appear by pressing L with the cia version so couldn't get past the lame-o copy screen on monkey island 2. Installing the 3dsx version fixed the issue.

Hey guys, I am so sorry for a really lame questions but I am quite a noobie about 3DS homebrew. Plus I love ScummVM for years already :)
I have N3DS with Freakyforms Deluxe hax intact. Homebrew is working fine, ScummVM 3DS v0.3 (3DSX) is running but cannot recognize any games in their directories.
What could be a cause of that?
