I did. I also ran the program with administrative privileges as well. I also even tried redownloading the original template file from sky3ds website, still same effects. Mind you, the part of the header that fails for me doesn't start with a 0, rather a 1. So I'm still not sure why it would be failing. The rest of the header is transferred just fine. Perhaps you could consider adding an entry that would allow us to manually insert the private header of choice for the program to insert directly into the file. This would at least bypass the need to read a .bin file for the header info if it fails to do so. Just a thought.

Can you tell me at least the digits right before and after 0x19 ? I'll make tests with fake templates.

Unfortunately, no. I can't reproduce this bug (and I can't fix it).
The header written here is :
FF FF FF FF 90 19 82 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
Which is good.
And I tried many random values instead of 0xFF.

Please note that your header was indeed problematic (0x90) before last update.
Maybe redownload No ban no sky to be sure you're using good revision (bad upload timing ?) ?

I could try redownloading, but the version I ran is definitely 2.1, as it said that at the top of the program window.

I also checked my .bin header file via a hex editor and it matches the one shown in gateway rom patcher. I don't know what to do. Is there no way you could implement a manual entry of the header binary instead of using the tool to read the .bin file for users such as myself where reading the .bin file is problematic?

EDIT - Just attempted doing it on another computer with the download link you provided (shows as 2.1 when opening it) and still got the same results. What if you made the last two section of the header as 0E 40

Those were the only other parts of my private header that had a 0 in them.

It's the same. It works. And I'm pretty sure it will works too enven if you told the whole header data. Damn', I wish I could reproduce this problem.

Maybe your header bin is messed ? How did you extract it ? What's its lenght ?

I'm able to import my header bin into roms via game patcher and it does it correctly though. I extracted the .bin using a 3ds with version 6.2 and booting it with the gateway method and backing up the rom, then I extracted the .bin file from my rom using game patcher 1.1

The .bin size is 12kb.

I can try reextracting the header from my rom, but I doubt there is anything wrong with it as it works with other utilities.

EDIT: Oddly enough, extracting the header again from my rom then using that to modify the template worked, NO IDEA how or why that was the issue but I apologize for wasting your time lol Thanks again.

Ok so once the template was patched what I have to do ? Because I have changed the template in my micro sd with disk writter , I'm not sure that's enough ?

Sorry for asking again but I don't have to write my all games etc ? Because in another topic I saw Gateway Rom Patcher and It's needed to patch all games and the sav are lost etc ^^'
I think it's because I'm banned that I worried ...

If you're banned, this tool won't help. It's meant to PREVENT ban.
Just wait to be unbanned (previous users recovered online within 15 days).
Next, patch all games or the one you use and reflash games with diskwrite.
And yes, you'll loose save if you change header.

Je pense que l'on peut parler francais vu que tu viens de France . Du coup , j'ai patché mon template avec un header privé et la du coup il faut que je réecrive tout les jeux sur la carte avec le template modifié ? Je sais je suis chiant mais je n'ai pas envie d'être re-bannis déjà que le ban de 15j ca ma saoulé

Hey, the second last 2 digits are not taken correctly from the header.bin file. I couldn't play online without checking with Gateway ROM Patcher and changing the header.
But thank you very much for this tool. After some tweaking it will be perfect.

I'm still not entirely clear of this whole process.. I have a couple of questions I hope you guys can answer..
So as far as I understand this whole situation, using Sky3DS with the default template works (and this I confirmed), but when trying to get online, it errors..
So, I got a private header, used this tool to "replace" the public headers in the template, then reformatted and copied back to my microsd..
At this point, I see no difference when attempting to get online, same error occurs..

I compare the original template to the newly modified one, and can confirm the header section has changed and appears to be correct. I've used tools like CTR to double check to see if the Chip ID matches (as far as Man. Size and Card type hex goes), and they seem to match up.
The part I'm confused about is, do I need to use the Chip ID from the same game I got my header from? or do I use the default that is included in the Sky3DS template? Also, is there another section like a cartridge ID I need to change, or is that the same as the header?

Just to clarify, how many points in one specific game template, do I need to manually change to get online? I'm trying with various games, and no luck, same 0123 error.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. ive scoured the forums, a lot of it is in broken english, and I can't quite understand what needs to happen. I at least know that Gateway users need to "inject" the changes into the roms itself, where as Sky3DS users just need to modify the template and that diskwriter then handles the writing when the actual copying of the rom takes place, ..right? :)

I just used this tool yesterday but I have a few questions if you could provide some answers that would be very much appreciated. OK so yesterday I put a private header in to MH4U and it worked like a charm and proceeded to do it with all my other online games but here's my questions.

1)in the template file (sky3ds) which line (1st,2nd, 3rd line?) is supposed to change once you Inject the header.

2) I didn't back up my save for fantasy life, injected the header, formatted the SD card (the one that has my roms) reflashed all my games and when I tested out fantasy life my save was still there, I thought changing the header to a private one erases the save?

3)could I just change the header for the whole template files instead of every individual game?
