you only need " if the name has spaces so if you remove the spaces you dont need the "

cfw is custom firmware. cfw has the sig checks patched out so you can use any cia. maybe ask ur friend if he can downgrade your 3ds to 9.2 and install a emunand and cfw for you.

open up a cmd window and type in ipconfig and tell me what it says for ipv4 address and default gateway. trying to figure out if the 3ds is showing u the right ip or not

one of them looked like his actual ip and not an internal one so better safe than sorry
and no it wont work on 10.5

not sure but to ur other question about 2x the space if you do the delete after install yes you do need 2x the space. there has to be enough space for the cia and enough space for it to be installed. once it is installed it will delete the cia as its not needed so it wont be taking up that extra space anymore.
