I finally got this app set up thanks to a very helpful member. This freeshop is great. I laughed the first time I booted the app and saw the banner change from "eshop" to "freeshop"

Hey,
it lets me download and install but for some reason when i go to the main menu it doenst show me the game.
(japanese)

Thanks for the great work, it makes "installing" games much easier
One thing though, Some games appear in the titlekeys db but not appearing in the app. Titles like "Fairune2". I refreshed the cache and the app downloaded new titlekey db at startup... Any ideas?

I may be wrong, but I think that the freeshop app has its own cache based on the well known databases, so a couple titles are not supported.

How are new titlekeys added to "that titlekey site"? Do people get the keys from games they bought?
You dump decTitlekeys.bin from your 3ds with decrypt9wip then upload it to that site (directions on left of the site's main page).
All games you have bought that aren't on that site will be added in a short time.

Freeshop's cache is updated manually by TheCruel, and it seems he's been doing it roughly one a week, when something big comes out (like the Pokemon demo) or when someone bugs him about it (but don't do that.)

Btw, there was a new cache pushed yesterday, but it was timestamped about an hour ago, so it wouldn't actually download until then. Fairune2 is in it.

Hmm.... BGM still doesn't work for me. It keeps crashing and freezing my 3ds.
I even placed dspaudio.cdc in the freeshop directory but still not working

EDIT: fixed it nvm

Last edited by Noroxus,
I wanted to check if it's still safe to play games from freeShop online without needing any other arrangements :yaynds:
Using the newest Sys. Ver. with Luma3DS and AL9H

there should be an option to set the cache expiration time
The cache is built by TheCruel, and as far as I know FreeShop checks for a new version every startup, so being able to define a cache expiration time would be rather pointless.

I've never used this before. Gave it a try last night, and well... I think it's one of the best homebrew I've ever seen in any console, ever. Everything is so smooth and straightforward, and the GUI is very clean. Just wanted to say that.

I think maybe mine is no longer working correctly.. It's been quite some time since Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls has been officially released.

Bony Spirits is listed, but no matter how many times I try to refresh, the banner shows the word "Demo" on it.

Fleshy Souls is still a no-show. But even on "that key site", Bony Spirits is listed, but Fleshy Souls is not. I would imagine these are quite popular games and should have been added by now. Am I doing something wrong, or is something broken on my end?

Well, you know how you haven't bought it and shared the key? Neither has anyone else :)
That's fine then, I get the concept. Wasn't complaining or anything, just wanted to make sure I was understanding the situation.

Thanks for confirming.
