I see turning off the screen may be confusing.

I'll eventually add that to the setting page and have it off by default. Then people have to opt into using it, then they shouldn't be surprised. I'll increase the time limit to 60 seconds too, eventually make it a customizable value.

Right now, I'm focusing on download queue improvements. Will be pretty nice.

Maybe instead of turning off both screens would it be possible to turn off one screen and dim the other with a message saying that FREeShop is "sleeping" and any downloads are still going and to press any button to "wake" the 3DS?

Just an idea to consider. Not sure if that would actually be possible. Thinking about it now I'm pretty sure retroarch is able to do something similar so I do know it would be possible, but not sure how convenient that would be.

did you use the download from the @DarkFlare69 video? if so you have to remove the .htm extension

If anyone actually wants help, include more details than "it's not working for me." I'm just going to ignore you until you provide details, there are a hundreds different ways something can not work (crash on launch, fail to install, freeze during title screen, etc.)

I made a new video showing the two errors I found this new updating and went to him just now.

No. But it does continue when the screens turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity.

I just thought something like the screens goes black and stays black but once it's finished downloading something the screen will turn back on by itself letting you know that it has finished, if possible.

Probably preferable to play a sound.

Yeah. I was just saying that because people talk about being confused by the empty screens. Maybe could also have the screen that is only dimmed have a progress bar on it. But there's are simply just suggestions for @TheCruel
