But doesn't they know you're entering and downloading without paying?
The files are automatically downloaded when you visit the server, there's no "click here to agree to some obscure EULA and download the file" button, so it's their fault.

So this will never auto download the enctitlekey.bin? If so that really is a shame, having to use a computer to update the enctitlekey every time a new game comes out kinda defeats the purpose for me. I'll keep using ciangel for now but obviously keep up the good work this app looks amazing!!!

This is a generic error message. You cannot tell what the problem is. More information would be helpful, like does it happen with all games you try to open?

I tried to open some games and most loads successfully, it happens randomly i think

You can use "cmake -DBUILD_EMULATOR=OFF .."
Or are you talking about the precompiled releases? I should probably add that there, I suppose.

Yea, I just recently installed QT5 from the portage overlay, as it's currently unstable. Cmake configured the build fine, but I'm getting errors when trying to build it. Are you also using your fork of ctrulib?

How should I add a VPN to my 3DS console?
You can't. You need to configure the VPN on your router in order to use it on your 3DS. Though it would be kinda useless, since the "illegal" thing is downloading the encTitleKeys.bin. Downloading games from Ninty's servers isn't illegal in itself, it's up to them to protect their servers from unauthorised downloading.

Thanks. There are some general instability and lack of error checking in the code, I bet that is it. For example, if it fails a screenshot fetch, it will attempt to load the corrupted download and [probably] crash. These sorts of crashes are unfortunately common atm.

Very impressive work! I'm really impressed by how responsive the app is and how the search function works.

One question: Is the gear on the touch screen supposed to do something? When I click it nothing happens.

What exactly is a titlekey? I've searched but seriously haven't found any info on it.
From what I understand, it's an encryption key which is used by Nintendo servers to give you access to a game / app. Each game (so each TID) has its own titlekey, and needs it to be decrypted. So if you install a valid ticket (= combination of a Title ID and a title key) on your console, the Nintendo servers will allow you to download the associated game, and your 3DS will be able to decrypt it and install it like you bought it legitimately.

I wonder what Nintendo is going to do about this new method of jacking their shit, now that it's so polished noob friendly.

I'm not asking for it lol. I'm asking what a titlekey IS.
An encrypted Title Key is a part of content protection process of serveral things like games, videos, etc. To protect the content, the information units are encrypted using encryption keys called Title Keys. To achieve more security and so that the key obtention process cannot be obtained by console/player without license, the Title Keys are encrypted giving as a result the encrypted Title Keys.
