and my pc would go kaboom if i attempted to run it from it

PC steam version should work, I don’t remember what version it was, GOG also works

Yeah, backup any save data you might have with the all users option in SaveMii just in case

Great work on Cuphead, feels right at home on the Wii U. Whenever I can get another console, this will be the first port I am testing!

I have a GOG version of Cuphead that is not loading for me. Perhaps I have an older version that is not supported?

Update - Can confirm I was running an older version of Cuphead GOG. Just updated and everything works. Thanks again, Juanen100!

This makes me curious if the same thing could be accomplished with a game like Hollow Knight, considering it's also a 2D Unity game. From what I also know, Hollow Knight was initially supposed to be released on the Wii U, but it was shifted to the Switch when it was released. So it's likely most of the assets were optimized for the console, which will likely allow it to run well. Granted, we're talking about porting a PC port to it, which complicates optimization.

Thought I should at least throw the idea out if you wanted another game to work on.

Separate entirely but keeping this WiiU Cuphead Energy Up...(This Port is the Beast ) Does anyone know how to install this mod in WiiU Smash bros from Gamebanana, for SDCafiine. I can't get the file structure smoothed out on my SD, Now that pretendo has smash back online and this is mod is WIFI safe, I figure there's nothing stopping complete wiiu Cuphead chaos :

It runs at 720p, performance would kinda dip at 1080p iirc

Isn’t this game made by a different company that takes inspiration from Cuphead? I don’t think it’s made by Studio MDHR, the publisher doesn’t seem to be related with them
