'Surprise Feature' I hope that it will be good. Hopefully being able to boot a hole load more of games. Does anyone know or think that the next version will be 1.7.0 rather than 1.6.5?

1.7 - only if there will be big improvement
otherwise - meaningless

According to this video, the new feature is texture caching files that can be transferred from older CEMU versions or that can be downloaded in advance.
I'm not sure if one of those fits your description, and I don't know how this guy would know this, so take it with a grain of salt.

I was actually hoping it would be anti-aliasing or modifiable resolutions, but hopefully those are coming at some point too.

Yeah Colour Splash as well. I also hope that they might of fixed the green screen on Hyrule Warriors.
maybe i am the only one that wants a separate screen to play splatoon and ninitendoland 's two player mode...

What madness, you have played a game in which they took it the DLC and replace it the clues of the original game, but you can not play the original and the dlc same time, Cemu does not have downloads support.

Are you really too lazy and spoiled to open up a separate rpx file?

Not sure if the issue is with Cemu (1.6.4b) or with saviine but, i exported my Windwaker save out of my WiiU and loaded it fine in Cemu.. played for a bit and saved and closes Cemu. Upon restarted Windwaker the game i was playing still had the save from when i imported the game save. none of my progress made in Cemu was saves.. even tho i saved it several times and no errors where given. Is there something im missing?

Oh that reminds me. Video encoding is quite a big feature, wouldn't be suprised if that is added in as the big feature.
I was thinking about this feature too
There`some games which even crash or are fully unplayable because missing video support
I'm sure that will come soon to Cemu :)

@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

Its actua!ly just a old joke, meaning its slow. Was just kidding around with you.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

@BigOnYa, although the bullets are a bit buggy

Not to mention this would be a massive pain to pirate

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
