# New in 1.6.4b:hey guys, what changed in cemu 1.6.4b version?
finally upgraded videocard to GeForce 1050Tiand what does that tell you? you don't need a beefy GPU for most games, since you can't change resolution or AA level or anything like that, anything above a 750 ti is an overkill for most games, and even so, games like SM3DW and MK8 literally "tickles" most half decent GPU's...
also consider that cemu still improving so i wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of months you may be able to run most compatible games with decent performance, but i wouldn't wait for it either...
nowait, is this real? The Christmas edition?
finally upgraded videocard to GeForce 1050Ti
oh man .. before on radeon 5750 - it was possible to play. but for Xenoblade - it was not comfortable
i even found the main reason .. Cemu for Xenoblade demands about 1.3 Gb videoram // and seems with progressing of game - the amount of needed videomemory will be increasing
- so all (espeicially old) videocards with ram less 2Gb - have BIG (non-solution) problem
it would be good !!Darkemaste said:Yep, as I've noted earlier it's not just an OpenGL requirement for Cemu, but VRAM as well for certain titles. (again Xenoblade can also use up to 10GB system RAM on it's own)
The next version of Cemu is also aimed at reducing VRAM/RAM usage for this reason.
He said it would be a late Christmas present, in fact I think it's going to be a very early Christmas gift for 2017.Will we get an update on the latest version anytime soon?
