1 - (I wish they could next find a way to get all games to boot.)
2 - (I wish there was World Peace!)
Maybe a second option may be more possible dream. lol

may be 3 - 6 monts again it will.. tha ks for Exzap and team for their hard work.

because this 1.63 version has much improvement especialy for mario kart 8
( i think this is the best build for mario kart8)
in this 1.63 version i can get 59 fps in "GRAND PRIX MODE" with my weak i3 processor (off course without overclocking and no tweaking)

just see this video you will see that now mario kart 8 can reach 59 fps on weak and standard i3 processor :

I wish constant 60 fps for Mario Kart :( but i'm grateful for the fast development *cough* Citra *cough*

Citra is open source and anyone can contribute to help speed up development. It only may feel slow but you'd be suprised what they already accomplished as one, most games (a good 700 or more of them boot of the 900+ 3DS games (Which includes VC titles. Referencing this list) and plenty of them are already really accurate as already the graphic backend is almost not missing any features aside a few. Granted audio is still needing some work, Simply giving more optimization like Cemu had Citra will be just as playable. I'm surprised how people react to Citra or even try to act like Cemu is better. Their both different and took different approaches. Citra came accuracy first and does well with it. Cemu mixes those elements to give more of a playable experience.

Granted you have a better graphics card but i only get 60 fps in menus and 45-50 in time trials in grand prix it goes down to 25-45 without V-sync

I know all of that but if you compare the unofficial builds by the chinese dude you'd realize how citra is cause he's just compiling commits already waiting reviews so the review process is long cause devs in my opinion are not as hard working as the cemu team since it's like a hobby for them i guess, i'm not complaining though.

yoshi's wooly world keeps crashing for me on the exact same spot on world 1-2 upon entering the first double doors. Tried playing with different settings but no luck.

Mate I get 60FPS Mario Kart i have done since 1.6.0

Looks Like Decaf Can Boot Games that CEMU can't. Could someone explain to me what code is ran when booting a Wii U title?

Do not try, there is no setup that we can solve. This will only be resolved in future revisions, if they want to resolve. Otherwise what we can do is forget.

3. i wish mario kart 8 can be played solid 60fps with my weak i3 processor, so i dont need to change my processor to i5 or i7

Hey guys. I usually get around a full 60 fps in Mario Kart 8 on most tracks with my i7 6700 and gtx 960 now. I've run 1.6.3 a few times now, so I doubt it's a caching issue, but on Bowser's Castle and DS Wario stadium, I notice a definite slowdown now to about high 20s, low 30 fps at parts, that wasn't there before, and where it really seems to struggle. Has anyone else noticed this? Other than that I think it's an improvement. Oh yeah, I should also mention, that as far as the DLC is concerned, the music is still missing most of the time for Wii Wario's Goldmine, Super Bell Subway, and Wildwoods, in Grand Prix, even though someone on youtube said that the sound was supposed to be fixed for this game with 1.6.3.

You guys misunderstood me, i'm sure it can run for many PCs at 60fps constant because you guys have high GPUs, mine is GT 755m so i get 60fps only in time trials, so what i meant is cemu is still not that optimized cause the devs are still focused on making the graphics of the games look just like the WII U

The games code, literally.

The emulator just executes the game's code (rpx), it also handles the system calls, graphics, sound, etc...

Here's an example from Exzap:
"Cemu doesn't handle extracting GTX files, for example. It handles the swizzling and some other stuff, but the game itself handles extracting this format. Cemu just executes the game's code, clueless about what's getting executed."

Your GPU is fine . Pretty much any GPU is fine as long as it's not too crappy like Nvidia GT 730
Emulator like Cemu , PCSX2 , Dolphin , Citra require a very fast CPU , especially single thread performance . My i7 4700MQ @ 3.6GHz run Mario Karts 8 at full speed too and when I change the CPU clock back to 2.4GHz (stock speed) , most games run like a slow motion movie
So if you want MK8 to run faster , push your CPU frequency higher

@Exzap I realise that Wine under linux is not supported but if you have any spare time could you take a look at the following debug trace. [ http://pastebin.com/6Vm1Y7Te ]

Every time I try to play through a cup on Mario Kart 8 it plays fine up to the third race of any cup. When loading the third race there is a 95% that it will crash with the information in the attached trace. Very rarely I can get it to proceed further if I add a delay before advancing to the next race. I am interested to see if there is any information I can pass back to the wine developers.

Also our of curiosity, Yoshis Woolly World always hangs when the screen fades to black after the boot logo with the bouncing Yoshi's (before the controller warning screen) and Star Fox hangs as soon as the emulator is launched. Do any of these games require specific OpenGL extensions to work correctly? Is there anything specific to these games that would explain the reason that they hang?

Thanks.

Any suggested programs to overclock the CPU ? i'm used to overclocking my gpu but i thought cpu was automatic my i7-4700MQ cemu always uses around 25% when i check the task manager so i thought it was not that relevant to the framerate

You have to do it from BIOS

Also, I do think it's your GPU that's the issue. Cemu is weird for an emulator, it doesn’t emulate a bare metal system so much as the OS it runs on (@Exzap please correct me if I'm wrong). Because of this, system requirements will be a bit more similar to "a bit more than needed to run a similar PC game," as opposed to "lol what's a GPU, just throw CPUs at it for dayz"

the cpu overclocking actually worked lol
