So the 0.5 arent accessible at all? Most reviews about this problem said it were usable at a much lower speed. To me, are not usable at all.

Still I think 970 is a great card, but nvidia lied about vram and rops count. And also lied on older cards. So, nvidia words means nothing.

the 0.5GB was segmented off, meaning it's there, but at an incredibly slow rate, hence why there's stutters if you hit over that 3.5GB mark lol

well, thats the point, to me are not accessible at all. Its just taking normal ram to fake the 0.5gb. With drivers reporting more than 3.5gb usage to make you think are being used. I found no other way to explain the high normal ram usage when you reach 3.5.

Sorry, but my point was not completely proven. High ddr ram usage was discovered after the fiasco, and none was interested in looking further.

And you are right, no more offtopic.

Great. In my test, luigi u was one of the highest fps I saw.

Mario maker when I get the 10 level contest, emu always crash at 3rd level, looks like they are random levels but always crash at 3rd one.

Another nice thing, will be support for L and R triggers on xbox 360 controller so we can map zr and zl there.

little advice nvidia always lies

Still the most used card on Steam...

What about AMD with the super OC capabilities of their latest piece of crap associated with the revolutionary HBM whatever? Every card maker lies, they are here to make money, not pray for world peace. Welcome to the real world.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

nvidia states that the gtx 970 has 4GB of gddr5 but seems to shit itself at 3.5GB

Get a decent job, make some money, and get 2 980 Ti instead of complaining like a french girl with your third world country video card... Can't wait to get Pascal the next millisecond it is released, whatever the price.

i borrowed a fury x i got a 55% OC on a fury x with a simple bios mod temp wen to 65c from 51c and performance has a huge jump of 25% so amd didnt lie that's nvidia's job as i said before

Lmfao, absolute bullshit. AMD's latest series come pre-overclocked to their near max potential to make it seem like this new series is faster and better price/performance. At best you can eek out a 10% OC on AMD's new liquid cooled series with a prime chip, whereas with Nvidia's you can easily reach +40% on air and 50%+ on liquid. AMD claimed Fury X would be an overclocker's dream, but it turned out to be the worst GPU yet for overclocking.

You can buy a 970 right now, it comes with a base clock of 1050mhz, and overclock it on air to a stable 1450mhz and have it perform similar to a 980. That is very good price/performance compared to AMD right now.

Still dont know what emu will need to run properly.

As you can see, users with amd apu reports 15 to 17fps on mk8. The same as users with highly overclocked i7.
And the performance per core on intel is way ahead of amd.
Even dolphin cant run at full speed on amd cpu.

Best bet is to get an i5 haswell or newer with unlocked multiplier. Since dolphin run at full speed only on intel oc builds, I think having similar hardware is the best bet.

Also you can build a better pc with that money.

Intel graphics is probably a dead end road for future emulators.

Best bet is i5 k and a mid end nvidia card (950 or 960) Maybe amd card too.

Guys. While waiting for next Wednesday for the next Cemu Update, what do you think are the changes for the next update of the emulator?
For me, better graphics and framerate. Same as usual.

Quick question, people getting 20fps+ in MK8, what hardware do you have? I'm running an i5 6600K OCed to 4.7GHz and two 980 Ti's in SLI and I'm getting between 11 and 16 fps...

Another quick question, is Cemu SLI capable or does it only use the one GPU?

Since exzap said the other team member wasnt working on the emu some days ago, we shouldnt expect major changes.

Maybe some more things rendering on screen and probably a few more games booting.
