Yes, it still crashes upon save selection or new save selection.

Though if we are to believe this video, someone "modified" Cemu 1.5.5c to play the game:

I call a fake, but you never know...

It's 100% fake. It doesn't fade to black, which is before the Nintendo Presents screen.

I haven't looked at the game so I don't know how the intro starts etc, but yea, it is 99.9% a fake. I'm more curious how it made it look like it was running within the emulator. That's some nice editing skills. xD

Not really. All that would be required is some basic video layering. He does all the requisite moving of window using CEMU then once he fades to black and starts layering a capture on top he never moves the cemu window again and never moves his mouse over it again. I'm not saying it's 100% fake but the way it is shown would be easy to fake.

I haven't seen any indication of editing, and there usually are from what I can tell, but I'll trust ya. It just looks really hard to me. haha

Like I said I'm not guaranteeing it's a fake. Just that editing a video to look like that would not be hard. It does seem to error out at the end though which would lend credence to it being real. Even if it is real though it seems to crash during the intro so absolutely nothing to get excited about.

The brightness after the savedata part of the video is darker, so there may be some editing going on.

Well, he did claim that he "modified" 1.5.5, but yea, it does look a lot brighter. Shame on people for tricking and messing with people like this. Shame on you!:teach:

I'm very curious about the technical side of this thing about DLC not working on CEMU.
Did they ever explain the reason for it?

Because normally I would guess DLC are just adding files on top of what's in the disc/ISO/ROM/whatever, and that would be pretty much it.

Not sure what exactly you mean, but I can tell you that DLCs don't work with Cemu, yet.

Whaaat!? As I have been in this thread, a common issue, e.g. for MK8 was that DLC content would "overwrite" some of your non-DLC content in cemu (yet), so make a backup of your game first. And you say DLC does not work at all :blink::blink: Am I in citra thread :wacko::wacko::rofl::rofl:

This thread is not a customer support center for cheap pirates. You are not happy with anything? Play it on Wii U and get back to your cave. Thanks.
And who you think you are talking with that attitude , this thread isn't just for discussions , its also for people who share their solutions with others .. stop acting like a selfish prick and have something useful to say , you always act like that for no reason

Considering that every single cutscene in the game is a FMV located int he movie folder, and you can easily slap it using any video editor, it isn't like "he" has done something super complicated.

You never get to see actual gameplay on that video.

@Molhel @Slash @Xalphenos Maybe if he just threw together a quick sudo Wii U application that just ran a video and he ran that which ran a recording of some game play from boot to in it would have been more believable but ya, can't believe how fast these fake botw in cemu videos are circulating. Would be pretty dam cool to see botw in 4k for thoughs who have a monitor for it or at least 4k downsampled to 1080p, I would settle for the game running at all, 720p isn't terrible but 1080p is a bit nicer to look at.
