Hey there,
When I saw the GCN music pack by @Jouzai I immediately thought about creating a City Folk/Wild World version of the mod. I worked 2 full days setting the perfect loop flags but here it is. 500MB filled with childhood and relaxing music coming your way.

Spoiler: Bug in 1.1

The sound for the achievements does not work and the game crashes as soon as you get the medal. You could 'fix' this by deleting the STRM_BGM_FNFR_COMPLETE.bcstm and/or the STRM_BGM_FNFR_COMPLETE_SUR.bcstm file.

Spoiler: Note for people who have downloaded the v1.0 pack before 7-5-2017

I made a typo in 1 filename (STRM_BGM_OUTDOOR09_SNOWY_SURy.bcstm)
This is not a biggie and can be fixed by removing the "y"
You will not notice this till it starts snowing at 9 AM.

This is fixed on 6-5-2017 around 11AM, if you downloaded the pack after this time you have the fixed pack already.

To update, just copy and replace all the files

Prerequisites:

• CFW with Luma 7.0 (I recommend the latest nightly)
• Copy of ACNL US,EU,JP (Yes even Welcome Amiibo will work)
• Enough SD card space for the files (Ideal for big SD cards) (current pack is 500MB)
• Enable Game Patching in Luma Settings.

Instructions!

1. Open your 3ds SD card
2. Open Luma folder
3. Create a titles folder
4. Create a folder with the corresponding region titleID as the name Ex: 0004000000086300

-If your game indicates this logo AKA PRE-Welcome Amiibo (

) then these are your IDs
US: 0004000000086300
EU: 0004000000086400
JP: 0004000000086200
-If your game indicates this logo AKA Welcome Amiibo Preinstalled (

) then these are your IDs
US: 0004000000198E00
EU: 0004000000198F00
JP: 0004000000198D00

Instructions(Cont.)

• Download the modpack from the download link above and unzip and drag it into your titleID folder

Your SD card should look like this: SD:/luma/titles/TITLEID/romfs/Sound/stream.
Voila! You are finished! Save your work. Load up your game and you are ready to play!

  • Please report this so I can try and fix this (I am not a 24/7 tech support)

• Its buggy as hell!, thanks to you I lost my progress for today!!
  • I'm not responsible for you not saving while modifying your game. Just make sure you save more often next time. My friend and I tested this about 5 hours and didn't found any crashes.

Nice! Also, I don't mean to sound nitpicky, but these are the City Folk versions of the songs since Wild World's music was lower quality and had slightly different instruments on some songs.

But the songs are pretty similar, so that's why I decided to take the high quality version of City Folk. Don't see a reason to use Wild World tbh.

500 MB worth of music, you went all out on this! This is exciting, thanks OP!

As a tip for everyone, you can actually keep both GCN and WW/CF music packs on the SD card. Then just simply move the one you're gonna use into the proper folder.

Or Generation 2 as a whole (I split the series into seperate Generations.
Generation 1: Doubutsu no Mori, Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, Doubutsu no Mori e+ (and any mangas between 2001 and 2004).
Generation 2: Animal Crossing: Wild World, Animal Crossing: The Movie, Animal Crossing: City Folk / Let's Go to the City (and any mangas between 2005 and 2011).
Generation 3: Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and that other game I shouldn't mention (and any mangas between 2012 and whenever the next Generation starts)).
