Hacking [RELEASE] 3DS Multi EmuNAND Creator

Hey, I'm currently following this thread tutorial: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-installing-rxtools-custom-firmware-3ds-and-2ds.390867/
and at step 8, they said that I should backup my EmuNAND just in case. So I followed the tutorial, but when I use the software (thanks for creating this ) i got this error.
It said I should format my EmuNAND but it said that "No valid drives available"

So what should I do now?

I am at exactly the same point as Hua above - is there a solution to this? or will I have to scrub (format) the emunand as directed? - seems a bit drastic

Everytime i try extracting the emunand, it crashes immediately. What can i do? Running it on admin and compatibility mode wont do jack.

This thing doesnt wanna start up for me. I tried starting it as an admin & in compatability mode.

This happens every time I try to start the format or inject an emunand or rednand. Any help?

I checked source code but the program will not detect NTFS formated drive. make sure your HDD is not formatted with fat16 or 32.

I don't want to be that guy, but could you please give me a brief definition of "RedNAND"? I've never heard this term, throughout the entire 3ds scene!

My hdd is 1tb sata 2 (format ntfs) and every time i open 3ds-multinand always is there

It is odd that this tool seems to work with emunands sometimes and others not. For a while I started just creating the emunands with this tool rather than Emunand9 to make sure that it would work, because it's so much faster to load and unload emunand this way.

I don't really understand what you mean... but I'm going to assume that you asked if you could format a second emunand without losing the first and without having a second emunand installed yet right? as in you want to create a second emunand. If yes, then no actually you need to have created the second emunand first. this tool won't help create that second partition for you. I haven't been on the multinand scene for a while since my 3ds got stolen from my car. -_-" but just use one of the creating multinand threads to help. Or, if you're lazy, just use a partition tool and add a new partition the size of the first emunand partition. when you inject the emunand into the second slot, that's where it'll go.

I doubt it. It hasn't been updated since. There aren't alot of people interested in dabbling in multinands I suppose. What with the whole booting percentage still just 99.99% at best and all.

Yeap!. but I don't really recommend that. you should just use gateway as one and then maybe try a CFW as another. having 2 of the same emunands is pretty boring.
