No. Bootmii is installed in a different part of nand

awesome, thanks. i was unsure as to weather or not systemmenu 4 wad touched boot2. im I was looking for a quick way to remove preloader w/o overwriting bootmii, i hear any systemmenu wad would overwrite preloader when installed, correct me if im wrong.

yes, preloader will be removed if you install a system menu wad
after that, there will be a few traces left. You can remove them with nandclean

just make sure you install the right version though. or it might brick you (which bootmii could fix, provided you've made a nand backup before)
