Hacking Question Recommended reading before hacking?

I'm new to Switch hacking and read the following OPs:

The install/run any firmware thread was excellent since it covered a bunch of common tools and basic hardware. Are there any other threads like this?

I would read the switch noob paradise, the Nintendo switch banning hub, and CTCaer's hekate mod. These threads should give you a general idea of what to expect and how to avoid bans

I would read everything, in fact, I have! That is how I've managed to not fuck my switch up yet.

Most of it is trial and error. Something you likely wouldn't see in those is careful where you obtain the files from there is brick code out there.
Just look up how to back up your NAND etc, having a backup is VERY useful. Couldn't link you as it was some YouTube videos I watched a while ago that showed me, I'm sure the thread exists and is pinned somewhere though.

then after I know what to do with the switch, post a question here and let the experts tell me what I missed
