Hacking Read / Write to MicroSD while still in M3 DS Real ?

If you put the M3 DS Real into a normal SD reader slot with the microSDHC card still in, will it just pass through and let you read / write to the microSDHC card or do you need to remove it from the M3 DS Real and put it in an adapter or its own slot?

Always wondered about this and my GF is getting one soon, thanks.

The M3 isn't a normal SD card. It's a Nintendo DS cart. So yes you have to take the micro out and put it in either converter adapter or it's own slot if you have one. From what I hear the addapters that tend to come with the M3's are pretty unreliable and have even been known to damage cards. I didn't even bother using mine, I bought a little Dynex one which works great so far.
