So will this work on patches 8.0.1 units? Or is there still no exploit for 8.0.1 patched switches?
patched Switches on 8.0+ will likely remain unhackable for a VERY long time (if they even get hacked at all). But if someone somehow does find another warmboot or coldboot exploit, hekate should work

I backed up my NAND and now when I run my switch in RCM mode, it auto boots with Kosmos/Atmosphere. How do I access the hekate GUI later when I decide I want to restore my NAND?

so will this basicly let me duel boot into OFW or CFW?
I only wanna be able to do save edits for pokemon and BOTW.

I wanna be able to go into CFW to use check point then go back into OFW so I can play safely online and use the Eshop still.

If you mean EmuNAND, that is not out but keep an eye out on June 15th.

So here I am : I followed the instructions on this video but my switch goes back to normal after a few seconds like this :

I tried disconnecting the cable but it doesn't change anything... any advice ?

For the love of all that is holy, please do not follow anymore YouTube videos. They are outdated the moment they are uploaded and created by people who barely know anything about hacking. Restart from scratch and follow a text-based guide such as sdsetup or switchguide.xyz if you want to run a more authentic version of Atmosphere.

@CTCaer : First, thank you for your wonderful work!
About recent Atmosphere support for EmuMMC, you are maybe preparing a tool to handle EmuMMC creation/backup/restore with Hekate.

If it's the case, I saw this tutorial which uses TX team tools to create EmuMMC partition:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/tut-how-to-setup-atmosphere-emummc.541060/page-2#post-8679280

About the partition created through this method, will it be compatible/handled/supported by EmuMMC backup/restore open source tools?

Thank you for your help!

I have one question, is Reboot (normal) the same than Launch-->Stock?

Because:

Reboot (normal) = Reboot normally, without any mods and CFW.

Stock =
fss0=atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin (what does it means?)
stock=1

So, is Stock a clean OFW?

Wait for the response of @CTCaer but as I know, boot through custom bootloader (aka Hekate) today are detectable, I recomend you disable autoRCM, boot into OFW on retail method (with power button) and launch hekate for emuMMC with a jig and inject (or with modchip if you don't like the manual method)

What exactly does "today" mean, and where did you get that info from?

Atleast on the past (v5.1.0 and older), the stock boot of hekate allow to boot on OFW without risk, but now I read a lot of people saying that get banned for boot OFW through custom bootloaders, so it's possible that they detect it now on newest firmwares.

I was still online with hekate + atmosphere just yesterday and have been regularly ever since Smash Ultimate released (when was that, december or november last year?) and am not banned, so unless something new cropped up in the firmware just released today, that doesn't sound right.

Same, except I’ve been doing since around May of last year

I've used stock up until Smash Ultimate roughly, and since then i've been using full-blown atmosphere, with custom sys modules like FTP server and overclocking.
