"Excuse me, I need some assistance with my Nintendo Switch.

Previously, my console worked perfectly in both handheld mode and docked mode.

However, now I am experiencing an issue specifically with docked mode. Handheld mode still works fine.

When I connect the Switch to the TV (docked mode), the game or even the main menu screen starts to lag, stutter, or freeze completely after just a short time of playing.

I am unsure if this is a software or hardware issue. Could you please help me analyze the potential cause or suggest any troubleshooting steps to fix this?

Remove all your sys-modules install fresh sys-patch and restart your console. sounds like a old sys-clock sysmodule.

"Hello, I wanted to follow up and let you know that I have successfully resolved the issue with my Nintendo Switch!

The problem turned out to be the Switch's USB-C connector port being faulty. It was not receiving enough power, which is why the console was performing slowly and severely lagging when connected to the Dock—there was insufficient power transfer.

I had to take the Switch to a repair shop. Now, it is working perfectly in both handheld mode and docked mode.

Thank you for your help!"

wow that is a big issue, glad your console is working fine now.

Do android and Linux need to be updated? Is it fine to update from within the OSes or do I need to grab newer distros and reflash? And... what's with the 8gb ram version? I know nothing about that. You must have modded your switch for that, I presume? Is that safe to do if your Switch isn't banned?
