Like many others I'm having difficulty with the error that sounds something like this:

"The license for -songname- has been deleted from Wii System memory. To use the add-on content, re-download -songname- for which the license has been previously purchased."

I presume this is the same as the out of date error.

I'm playing on a 3.2E Wii, launched via disk channel using a burnt copy of Rock Band 2 US. I have a wiikey so I am not using any type of backup launcher.

Any idea how to fix this?

For softmodders who run it, the ciosbugfix37 (or w/e) it's called does the trick for burnt copies. You could give it a shot. I don't know if the Wiikey could interact at all. I would assume not, but for safety measures, I suggest Bootmii if you lack it. I don't know if posting the .wad file would be against site policy, so you can Google for it.

Thanks, I have the same problem... (modchip+out of date error)
Now I got the ciosbugfix37.wad, can I simply install it with wad manager?
or...I heard there is another program that lets you install IOSes as the number you want, would that be better?
or I have to install all cioscorp?
Thanks for the help...

Also... I feel we as a community need to agree on naming conventions for the Track Packs. All seem to agree with using (RB1) followed by a space for their RB1 songs... could we agree to use the following for the others? These are just suggestions. Trying to help!

Track Pack 1 = (TP1)
Track Pack 2 = (TP2)
AC/DC = (ACDC)
Track Pack Classic Rock = (TPCR)
Country Track Pack (CTP)

This isn't needed at all. The game reads the internal ID of the song, I personally leave the prefixes off of my titles, but I can play just fine with others because it's the same song ID. I could name all of my songs Asscream if I wanted, and you'd be able to play just fine with me, not that I would rename them as such...

I'm very happy with RawkSD
for me I'm not using it for RB1 or the Track Pack
I'm using it for customs =D
The problem is that when I'm playing the guitar
EX:
GGGGG the chart version

GG G the game play

The other is problem is when they are just strum notes it becomes a long note
EX:
RRRRR the chart version

R---RR the game play

Right now im trying to see if I can fix this

I'm using EOF because on the other guide to do it. It wont work for me
Feedback will not let me listen or chart my instruments
Anvil Studio wont let me import a midi or if I try it tells me to get an plugin but I have to pay alot of money!

Anyone got a guide for converting the three .bin files I exported from RB1 into an .iso?

EDIT: So, I combine the three files, and try to convert them through MagicISO and it just stays 0% and makes a bunch of noise.
1- Make a txt file.
2- Write copy /b 0.bin+1.bin+2.bin out.iso
3- Rename the extension (.txt) file to .cmd
4- BAM! RB1 iso.
Ohhhhh, I didn't think you copy into a different file extension! That makes it easier!

That will only work for windows users. I know there is a command that Mac OS X users can use, but I don't remember it at the moment.
I think it's "cat 1.bin+2.bin...+n.bin > out.iso". I'm not a 100% sure though.

I double checked it myself and it is. There is also a GUI that will do the trick if you don't like Terminal.

OT: The Green Day DLC is rocking, the drums are uniquely different from most other RB songs!

hey!

I have wii 4.0u
I tried some rb1 songs and with gamma3 it keep telling me "out of date".
When I try using the Soft-Chip Rb Launcher (to launch my usb drums on backup rb) and tries to play the rb1 song on rb2, it tells me "the disc could not be read".

Any Help?
The disc can't be dirty since all rb2 songs play normally.

RB1 import songs still aren't showing up in my game, I used both my camera's and my Wii's main 2GB non-HC cards. I've loaded all the songs onto them successfully, I installed the patch and then installed the songs, I go into quickplay and nothing is there. Please help.

Maybe for some reason it's not importing the tiering. Edit one of the songs in RawkSD to be sure.

i just ran into a problem i made a custom and when i go and play it it doesn't have any audio and all the customs just start when you see the highway. can somebody help and does it have to be mp3 cause i have a custom that has a mp3 track and just the highway is messed up and the others are wma.

I solved my problem by installing preloader and enabling the no-updates option. But it might be noteworthy for the devs to take a look at why it would think the system menu needs an update after I switched SD cards - the only change was that I'd run the installer on a new card with different songs.

Weird.
