Gyarados is waaaay over-rated when it comes to competitive play. It's good for a water type in the first few gyms though.

Electivire sucks without the speed boost magnezone takes away the best pkmn in the game ez, Gyarados has a weakness to Rock and electrick thats it lol better resistance than swampert, swampert has 0 sweeping ability, swampert gets raped by Breloom, celebi, Plot Infernape, magnezone, zapdos alot others dude.
