Hacking R4i SDXC. Firmware help.

So I bought one of these from China. It comes in a shiny, faded, purple case.

The website has been down for a while and I can imagine that the developers have abandoned it, meaning I can't get the firmware from their website.

Is there any other card's firmware that may work on this? I'm hoping that this is some sort of clone.

The packaging says it's an r4i."Revolution for DS."

I don't actually have a 3ds yet, so I can't test it out there. However I still have my original ds.

What can I do?

You bought a clone.
Don't expect any support.


It's best to get a card which doesn't have R4 in it's name

Throw that card in the trashcan next you, then buy a better card.

Just one question, when we'll eventually be able to play 3ds backups on the 3ds, will it likely be through a back up, or a firmware update?

Could be today, could be in a few weeks, could be never.

But one thing is sure.
DS flashcards cannot and will not ever play 3DS games.

download retrogame kernel and test each kernel, probably will work.

My only issue is that I can't get my DS phat to read the kernel. It loads halfway, but then crashes at the loading screen.
