I got an R4i save dongle a bit ago and I'm trying to make save backups and overwrite files with previous backups with Pokémon Y but it won't work I put in the cartidge into the save dongle and insert it into the PC and have everything necessary installed and updated the firmware to 1.3 But it won't recognize it it recognizes it as a 3ds game (although sometimes it thinks it's NDS) but on Game save size it says 1M byte and on Game info it says unknown.
When I save Card to PC and then on the game itself go to a different place save there put it in the dongle again and the put the backup I made previously in through pc to card and load the save game on my 3ds it didn't overwrite the save.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
EDIT: It might be that I need the drivers but the download link on the r4i site is broken
EDIT2: Found a link to the drivers and turns out I already have them or a more recent version so that's not it
