Hacking R4i RTS RDS AP fixes question

I got a R4i RTS 3DS, r4ids.cn card. I have put wood kernel version 1.64 of their website on the card and my NDS games work. I have a question regarding AP fixes, some games have ap fixes to these need to be applied to the games or does the card not require them? If the card does not require and they have been applied to a game, will this cause issues when playing a game?

Wood does this automatically, but if a game has been prepatched, it won't cause a problem.
