sorry wat i mean is the r4 neo a clone of acekard and not a r4 clone if so can some 1 help me use the rite firmware to clean up the cheat system and/or allow me 2 use ysmenu

again sorr 4 being unclear but the name of the card is "r4i neo"

im am asking if it is a acekard clone with a r4 name and not a r4 clone

also if it is in fact acekard could u point me in the direstion of a better firmware then the one currently out

The R4i Neo seems to be just another R4i ripoff. If you want an AceKard, go with the real deal or don't go at all.

Okay, he wants to know if the R4i is an Acekard clone, in a sense of hardware yes it is (I think...), except yes it does use the R4 firmware, second of all, he wants to know if he can get better firmware, you can use YSmenu, but I think what he means is can he use AKAIO on his cartridge, it really depends if you know for sure that your R4i Neo is an Acekard Clone...

Dunno, apparently AKAIO works on the Acekard clones. But they're planning to block that compatibility with the next release.

AKAIO is a custom OS for the Acekard. And chances are, it's multitudes better than the R4 OS. That is, if it actually works on your card...

Okay, AKAIO is the unofficial Acekard RPG/2/2.1/2i firmware, which has alot more features and is less buggy than the official firmware. (Need proof, use google.) AKAIO is currently able to run on R4 clones using the Acekard hardware. It's a better alternative, and best to use it before they block the compatibility.

It means something to you, because: It's better than the R4 OS (My opinion, don't take my word)

Better Skins
Various Plugins
Your R4 Neo, won't look so bad to you...
