I just received some R4 Evolution Cards from Dealextreme. All of the Cards came with the Firmware CD and 1.18 kernel is what is included. I have English, French and Korean on the cd. Most of the cards are English but 2 of them will only use the Korean firmware.
I tried using the language patch and instructions from several sources. But when I load the card it comes up "Hardware not Compatiable". I can see the R4 background and this message.
Is there any where to get already patched firmware? Or has any one that has had luck with the patching have any pointers. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I did test the cards with the Korean firmware and they seem to play games just fine. But these are cards are for my little nephews and I would like to try and turn the menus into English.
