Hacking R4 GOLD PRO White Screen

Today i bought a R4 Gold PRO 3DS, Model r4i-gold.com...I will describe exactly the steps i did and how i got a permanent white screen that i dont know how to fix...

1. As a new to r4, i inserted r4 without sd and i was getting an error " no system file ~similar to this, i dont remember"
2. Tried many kernels but all of them gave me white screen when i started the cart.
3. Then i downloaded this:
4. It worked but when i tried to play a game, it stuck at loading and i restarted the ds.
5. After restart iam now getting a white screen when i run the cart, even without a microsd inside.

Yes,i reformated sd and also tried a second sd. Iam using NDSL.

Can you try to launch Metriod Prime Pinball? It's a very old game that might work.

I cannot even go into the menu... r4 doesnt load up...r4 gets white screen

Um, okay.
Try to download a Kernel from https://web.archive.org/web/20131219135210/http://www.r4isdhc.com/gold-pro-2013/ and extract the content of the archive into the root of your card. By content I mean all files.

/edit but delete the other files before doing it.

This kernel also gives me white screen when i click to launch the r4..
I wonder, why does the kernel on the youtube video worked the first time and after restart i got white screen?
Also before i install the kenel from youtube, when i launched r4 without sd i was getting " no system file " messege but now nothing, even without sd when i launch r4 i et white screen. iam curious.

Downloaded both 1.57b and 1.36b and tested both on 2 different sd cards...both give me white screen.
Both cards formatted on FAT32, also tried on FAT.

Edit: Also just Tried v1.33b/1.35b, Still both white screen.

Your probably going to need to get a new flashcart then.

Thats not the problem since the cart was only 15$ but the thing is why did that happen? iam just curious....do you have any idea?

Why can be anything from newer firmwares not working on your cart to you running a game with AP that the firmware can't handle, etc.

It really sounds like the kernel from the video has an "anti-fake" code which bricked the card... or your MicroSD needs to be formated or is crap.

It is a DSTTi Clone, he can just use YSMenu and it will work.
