Hi all.
Well, yesterday I was absent for school cause I wasn't feeling very well.
My brother came home from school and said that one of the teachers PASSED AWAY yesterday.
He said it was a History and Geography teacher for grade 5 and 6.
I felt REALLY bad for that teacher.
It sorta ruined my day.
At night, I went on WLM and FaceBook, only to see that ALL my friends' statuses are saying : "R.I.P

So much empathy for others!

The world could use more understanding people such as yourself, TwoR. My heart goes out to the teacher's family, friends, and students.

Hey, I may not know how you feel, but I had a similar experience:
Our school nurse, who was first my nurse for grades 1-5 and then came to high school for my 9-12th year, passed away from a brain tumor. It happened 10 days ago without any precipitation; she was a perfectly healthy 41 year old. The entire school district was shocked.

She was a loving, caring person who was taken away in the middle of her life.

Life is hard sometimes. You lose people. If anything, be thankful for those close to you.

pocchama1996: around 35-ish

geoflcl: Thanks..

ifish: Yea I did and probably will a bit more. Thanks for the advice though.

campbell00: Oh... I'm really sorry for her as well R.I.P ... It must feel really bad to see someone replacing her I guess.

Black_Knight_666: Yes, that's also what I thought, she's in a good place. But it's hard for her to be separated from her kids. =/ I'll try to stay as positive as possible today.

pocchama1996: Aw! No way! R.I.P to everyone lost seriously. Poor guy =/

fudgenuts64: Thanks...

To be honest, I never cried when someone died in my family. Never!

On-topic: Yeah...rest easy.
We are in the same boat, now that doesn't make us heartless or such, I mean when someone passes away (family/friends), I do feel really bad and hurt but tears don't drop out, IDK why...and @TC, that's really bad man, I feel sorry for you and I hope her family are provided with as much help & tender care as possible to pass these bad evil days...so I'm not the only one who thinks 2010 is atrocious...I lost 4 family members this year..

I had a friend, Zach, in high school who passed away in a tragic car accident, due to his tourettes syndrome... my condolences but stuff like this happens. Try not to dwell on it too long - the less you think about it negatively and the more you appreciate the time the person was on the earth, the easier it is. Time will pass, and eventually, looking back on that teacher will feel the same way as if you were to look back on your kindergarten teacher during college years for instance. You have great memories, but you might not see that person ever again, alive or dead. Everyone disappears at some point - some people which you might not see ever again, but the permanence of death is unavoidable so the more it gets to you the worse it is.

And whatever you do - don't start smoking. When Zach died, I started, and it's a bad habit to get into.

P.S. And no, i'm not talking about the Zach in my sig - that's Zack, two different people. Also - @alphajaehoon - you might want to disable viewing your sig in this topic.

SamAsh07 & Canonbeat234:Well I guess you two musn't feel bad for not crying. That's actually really good. I mean like, to me it looks like both of you have found a way to enjoy life ignoring the obstacles that lead you to sadness. Don't get me wrong, I have a very happy life, and I don't think there's better. I thank my god for all of this (Ok I'm not getting into religious stuff now) and I mean. It's just that I guess both of you are so full of acceptance.

Infinite Zero: Yes it is. We'll try not to make it all that bad though. I adore all my teachers as well no matter how boring they get in class. And well, I guess like the above mentioned, everyone ends at some point but we try not to make it sound all that bad. I mean, imagine what the world would be like if EVERYONE cried after EVERY death. Life would be miserable. I'm trying to stay as positive as possible for these reasons.

vergilite: R.I.P... seriously.....

pokefreak2008: Lost both my grandpas unfortunately but I won't REALLY consider them as a loss to me because one passed away before my parents were married and the other, when I was seriously young. I guess I wish I could've met or known them but on the other hand I'm pretty happy I didn't have to suffer in losing them. Don't get me wrong I love my grandpas and hope they R.I.P as well.

Edgedancer: I seriously couldn't agree more but this is like I mentioned, my first loss. Hopefully if, god forbid, I experience something like this again, I'll be able to control myself a bit more.

alphajaehoon: You know you might think I'm a bit weird after I say this but, you guys seriously make my day... All the time. This forum is really international and friendly...

lacrymosa967: Sorry for your loss. May he R.I.P .

A teacher at my former lower school (now a primary school) died some time in August; she had a brain haemorrhage and they turned off life support a couple of days later. I liked her; she taught us some French, and when I went back there in 2008 for a week when I spent time helping in the nursery, I had a chance to tell her I took GCSE French. I suppose if I hadn't seen her then I never would have after I finished Year 4.

I'm not heartless either (I have two

) but death doesn't make me show much emotion either. Neither does much else, for that matter.
