I have never been a huge Flash user but even I find it surreal to see notifications like this one being sent to millions of users:

And supposedly later in January Microsoft is going to roll out an update which forcibly removes it anyway without your consent. What a world we live in.

Will there be an offline version available? People who have memories playing various Flash games might now need to resort to virtual machines to relive said memories.

Check out software like Flashpoint.

I still think there should be a ‘legacy’ browser for things like this, an easy to use sandbox/VM (yes I know VMs aren’t hard to set up but I’m thinking something my parents can use simple.

I had to install Flash on a computer a few months ago because of some CCTV system.
