I have never been a huge Flash user but even I find it surreal to see notifications like this one being sent to millions of users:

And supposedly later in January Microsoft is going to roll out an update which forcibly removes it anyway without your consent. What a world we live in.

I won't miss this terrible technology, it's good that most websites have moved away from it.

will i miss it? Yes, and no.
I really don't like flash for anything besides games.
But besides that, i am going to miss the games.
Rest in Peace, Flash, you flawed piece of software.

Thank god! The time is finally here.
Gonna be great to force people and sites to move to modern technology. Flash had its place in time but its death is way, WAY overdue.

I still think there should be a ‘legacy’ browser for things like this, an easy to use sandbox/VM (yes I know VMs aren’t hard to set up but I’m thinking something my parents can use simple.

I had to install Flash on a computer a few months ago because of some CCTV system.
