Hacking Quick question about acekard ...

I have an DSI with firmware version 1.2E and an Acekard with the Pippa Funnel icon and this works just fine but I recently bought an DSI XL with firmware 1.4.4E and the Acekard does not work or be recognised at all ,it says "There is no card inserted in the DS card slot" , So my question is how can I make the card work with the DSI XL ?
I do have access to a DS Lite if thats of any help.

Hmmm looks like its a contact issue ,if i depress the flashcart slightly I can see the icon but if i let go the icon disappears

I got it working but putting some some paper below the pcb
