I cant find any more ISos.....
I checked the list and there are no problems

Pokémon Battle Revolution WORKS YES / NO PAL & NTSC-U 1:1 on PAL, WiFi WORKS! | 1:1 (scrubbed) on NTSC-U is laggy in the intro and some menus, otherwise works perfectly.

I got this torrent from wii ISo, this was the only NTSC one

I have NeoGamma R9 beta 8, cIOS57rev19 slot 249, it works fine for burned backups but I can't get it to play from a HD. I formatted a partition in WBFS, placed the ISOs on it and when I select "Press A to mount WBFS" the "Load Games from: " disappears for a few seconds and returns. Clicking again does nothing, I see the HD light blinking though.

Hiya,

I hope no-one minds me posting this question as I asked about it a year ago but never got around to doing anything and now I really want to get my Wii updated as I can't play a lot of games now :-(

I am on 3.4E with Neogamma R6 and cIOS rev 13a. I have no brick protection at the moment and haven't done anything with the Trucha Bug (not sure if I need to do this?)

I have installed Bootmii as IOS as it can't be installed to Boot2.

Thanks for any help with this, there are so many new things out I don't know where to start or what I need! (I'm thinking of Neogamma R9 but not sure of which cIOS to update to -rev 19?) I don't know exactly what should be on my sd card as it seems to have unused things on it.

Basically I just would like to know the steps I should take in order to just run backups (I don't want anything complicated or fancy, I can look into these things at a later date if I want to)

Very grateful of any help (and of what order I should do things - bit worried I have no brick protection)

Natazza

Use this guide to get you on 4.2 and install the latest cios's.
The latest versions of neogamma is here.
If you want to run backups from disc channel install DaRkCORP.

Thanks Riley!! I really appreciate your help and will do what you suggested. I already have cioscorp so will I still need to install Darkcorp after I have updated to 4.2?

EDIT:

Have MKDD on disc now but when I load the game I get a green screen
My Options:

Boot Lang: Console Default
Force Video: Disc
Patch Video: No
VIDTV: No
Patch Country Str.: No

I have a Pal wii
NeoGamma R8 beta 12 (Channel), and MIOSpatcher

p.s when I change the options a disc read error appears

I got the PAL version of the game and it works....

Kinda odd to me how a PAL game works on an NTSC T.V and Wii.

Owell

Can you also tell how you let it work or what you program you use to play it ??
Select Force Video NTSC in any loader.

Ok, I have NeoGamma R9 now
when I force video NTSC 480p (wii and GC) then the wii regonize the game but restarts the wii
and when I Force video NTSC 480i (wii and GC) then green screen apeares and then the wii restarts

Maybe MIOS error because I can't read in mios installer because the font is too small

You should try an USB Loader like CFG, GX or WiiFlow, those are more user-friendly and have more options about wich cIOS to use with an specific game and other options...!!

really noob questions but!
1) how do i search within a thread?
2) I don't know how to get the configurable USB loader to show as a channel, I followed the instructions and the folder is at the root of the card but there's nothing there.
Thank youu

Hi, I really don't know if this is really quick/newbie, but I'll try it here anyway.
When trying to lauch Wii backups, GC backups, movie DVD original or backups, I've got a drive error.
I softmodded my wii using the complete softmode guide. I installed dvdX together with Bootmii and the Homebrew Channel. I installed Trucha bug. I'm using Hermes v.4 and waninkoko v.17, and the right cMios for GC.
MplayerCE v.77 - works fine with movies on USB drive
USB Loader GX - works fine with USB FAT32
All work perfectly, except that my drive don't read nothing, except my Wii original games.
What's wrong?
(PS. i already tried to find the answer here and in google, but didn't. So I'm sorry if there's already an answer anywhere and I couldn't find it... please just help me to find it)

I have NeoGamma R9 beta 8, cIOS57rev19 slot 249, can't get Band hero or Warioware Smooth Moves to play from HD. They just got to a black screen and I have to power down. Muramasa, and Wii Music play fine. Anyone know what I can try to get these games going?

So I've followed the pinned softmod guide here numerous times, and I have a couple of questions. I follow the guide word by word and it works fine and everything. I have priiloader installed and have the updates turned off and everything. So is there a reason why if I use the shop channel or try and use the Rock Band store, I restart my Wii, and the system menu is all wonky. By that, I mean the channel icons are off centered and everything is all sluggish. Also, just today, I turned on USB Loader GX and Wiiflow, and they both started crashing once they started up. The last game I remember playing off my HD yesterday was Metroid Prime Trilogy. Would that have anything to do with it? I'm on 4.2u.

I know Warioware PAL version will not work on a NTSC Wii. If that is the case.

Thanks, ether. Figured out my problem with that part, it was that I had my HD formatted as logical instead of primary. As for the second part down a bit further, all the games are NTSC. In GX Warioware and Band Hero get to the little spinning disc and freezes at black after clicking it. In Neogamma, it freezes after selecting the title.

Im trying to play Crash of the Titans [PAL] from my external from USBLoader_gx and for some reason it won't work. So far all my other backups have worked just fine when i change the settings. I know that it requires IOS21 but my only options from the loader are 223, 224, 249, and 250. I tried all the region options (disk default, console default, ntsc, pal50 and pal60) and all i get is a black and white scrolling screen at best on ios 249 with console default. Does anyone know how i can fix this? I can't even get a black and white screen that won't scroll.

NOOB questions....sorry, kinda long. I thought I was pretty handy, but im not sure anymore.... I've got a 4.2u version virgin wii. I've installed HBC, DVDx, and Bootmii2, and have a backed up nand. I've done a few different variations of installs. I followed a guide by wiibricker??? Maybe that shoulda been a warning for me, lol/jk. I started off with the trucha bug restore using dopmii. I then installed cios rev 19on my trucha 36 ios, with base 57. Used dopmii to uninstall 202,222,223,249,250..rid of stubs....I believe I then installed cios rev 19 on 249 with base 57. Then used blue dump to pack wad from 249. Then installed dumped wad onto IOS 250. ALso reinstalled the 249 cios rev 19 wad that I dumped....not sure if I needed to.

I then used hermes v5 and installed the following.....on ios 250;202 base 60, 222 base 38, 223 base 37, and 224 base 57. I already had the dumped wad from 249 on IOS 250. How many different installs can each IOS take???? Im a bit confused. Can all four of these be installed on ios 250??? Or was I suppose to install hermes on IOS 202 base 60, also on 222 base 38, and so on??

Am I way off base here??? Im lost. Id really like to be able to use the backup discs as well as the usb loading, even though its not completely necessary. Will the above setup work for this?

I guess I might be ok as long as I can get usb stuff to load......which leads me to another issue. I've tried many usb loaders; gecko, usb gx loader, backup launcher, and neogamma. Neogamma seems to be the only one that will load my usb data from usb flash stick (wbfs). It works fine, but is this normal that only one software works? I guess I'm kinda happy and bummed at the same time, bc my usb stuff works(but with only one program, but I would kind of like my drive to functional also. Please, any help is greatly appreciated.
Matt

I was playing ghostbusters on my external hard drive, it was working fine for a while and then it came up with the following message

Error
FATAL ERROR
Msg: OSPanic redirect
File: gcrun.cpp
Line: 140
Time: Wed Sep 21 07:40:23 1949
This is an unofficial build. run.cpp compliled Jun 9 2009

File gcrun.cpp line 140

what does this mean? I've googled it but its not really giving me an answer, seems everyone else who have had this message have had it at the end of the first level but I'm a couple of levels into the game.

@mbasonic
All the cios wads that are needed for usb loading are in the packaged file in this guide.

You should try formating your drive to fat32.
Convert all your .iso files to .wbfs files with Wii Game Manager and put the games in USB:/wbfs/GAMEID.wbfs
Try using cfg-loader to load your backups.

Update your shop channel with Wiiscu.

Find a usb loader channel forwader and install the .wad file with a wad manager. Make sure you have brick protection. ( priiloader / bootmii as boot2 )
