in MMM's main menu, go to the bottom item on the list, and reload an IOS that is patched (like 249, 250, 36, 236, etc.) then retry

Off-Topic: Xflak, can you update the NUSAD to instead( or also include) of downgrading 4.3 Wiis to 4.2, use Smash Stack to load LoadMii and then boot the NEW HackMii Installer 0.7, and then keep on the process, would you??

1. I've updated my HBC to 1.0.7 and BootMii to 1.2, but if update my Wii to 4.3 will USB Loader GX still work?
2. I also use a forwarder to load USB Loader GX. Will the 4.3 update delete the WAD, or will it remain?

1. You'll need to reinstall your cIOS after updating (just select IOS250 in the installer)

Nope (You can use ISO forwarders though, but that's not really the same)

WiiFlow can play channels (although it kind of is pointless).

not so much backup loading question as it is a quick softmod question, but dont really want to start a thread.

i softmodded my friends wii in january, he has cios 17, 4.2u, bootmii on ios, and about to install priiloader. when someone in his family used his wii, they tried running guitar hero 3 (original disc), but it kept asking for a disc update. any ideas? it ran fine in neogamma though

Can Gamecube backups be loaded via a USB HDD? If you have a WODE.

How about Wiiware? Yes by using triiforce

What do the backup's contain? Format your drive to FAT32 and convert your .iso's to .wbfs files with Wii Game Manager.
Then put the .wbfs files ( your backups ) into USB:/wbfs/

Use priiloader to block disc updates.

At the moment, my Wii is running 3.2E (have not touched it since last year). I was wondering if I should update it to the latest firmware, and if so which one? Will my previous softmods (usb loader) still work?

How do I go about updating everything, as I've lost track as to what i've installed before. Is there a way i can reset everything and start all over? Looking to use Configurable USB Loader

Is it safe to just update the system to 4.2, clear my sd card and follow http://www.completesoftmodguide.tk ?

After some reading, I plan on
1) Doing a complete update to 4.2 using the update guide in the link above since I already have HBC installed
2) Clearing my SD card
3) Reinstalling Bannerbomb, HBC & Bootmii
4) Installing Configurable USB Loader

Is that alright? Please advise otherwise

I recently got this HDD, so I transfered all my stuff from the SD card to the HDD, but when I press 2 on the Wiimote, there isn't even an option to select the USB device...

Eh... this is the Wii section. But yes, I think that the PSP is WPA compatible.

What are IOS and cIOS? I know cIOS is "custom IOS" and whatnot, but what're they used for and are they necessary?

What's "base" IOS?

What's cIOSX?

After softmodding via either of the sticky methods, what files should be constantly updated when available? ie. backup loader~
