i have a question

i downgraded to 3.3 today so i could run a backup of guitar hero 5. i installed all the files and wads and i started with imgburn and it gave me an error while verifying at 99%. i tried again and it worked. i look at my computer and it says the dvd has all of the space left after i exit out of imgburn. i tried running it with gamme backup loader but it says no game detected or something. am i supposed to do something before i exit out of imgburn or is it my wii?
help would be appreiciate a ton!

Alright!! Ok I fixed my problem

it was because I didn't have cIOS revision 14. When I used TJ's very informative sig, I was able to get a back up running

The only reason cIOS wasn't installing earlier was because I was using WAD installation and not Network installation. I could have used WAD, but I didn't have the wad in my root

(or any wad for that matter.)

hi,
i created two partitions in my hdd, one in FAT32 and the other one WBFS.
The WBFS drive has already been detected in WBFS manager and I can add games.
However, when i plugged the drive to the wii, the usb loader couldn't detect the WBFS drive and asked me to format.
I did not dare to format it as i was afraid it would format my other partition instead.

Where did i go wrong?

Can I use a usb stick of just 1gb to play a game?
If so, I scrubbed a game and in a rar it's 400 mb, but the original size is still 4.5, did I scrub wrong?
are there usb loaders that would take the rar file as is?

Did you make the partitions Primary? And is there an Active partition?

You can use 1GB sticks
It is normal that the ISO takes full space
WBFS managers will shrink it for you.

I'm trying to install cIOS36 rev 10. When I try the network installation it says initializing network and keeps that forever, I timed it it stayed there for 30 minutes so I reset reconfigured the network settings and tried again, same thing happens.

Is a softmodded Wii with an USB Loader like USB Loader GX essentially regionfree? Can the loader be configured to load european, US and JAP games without the need to switch other system stuff, like System Menu language or other settings with a tool like Any Region changer?

I've been playing Metroid Prime Trilogy off my USB using NeoGamma. Like others, I can't seem to get MP3 to work due to having installed IOS 38 Rev 14. It seems that I can switch to IOS 222 instead of 249. Will this allow me to play MP3 in 480p without a problem?

I kinda missed alot of the new hacks/software of the scene so my homebrew channel was made using the old twilight hack. Do I need to install something else?
I can't load house of the dead neither.
