I've successfully rghed my 360, everything is working fine, my questions are

1-my temps are between 65c and 80c is that within spect?

2- the tutorial i followed said to install a 1k ohm resistor, but in another site its recommended to use voltage regulator. should i switch the resistor for the regulator?

thanks in advance.

I know what you are trying to say, and i dont plan to use the console for gaming. Modding the xbox was for learning, im really interested in the answers of my questions.
If it's not for the sake of gaming on a modified console, sounds like you oughta be the mad scientist you want to and just experiment for the sake of discovery. Best way to stem curiosity.

80C sounds high, you will probably want to tweak the fan settings. It's not such a big deal on slims though.

Most people use a resistor, if it's working fine for you I wouldn't worry about it.

thank you. Now, how do i go about tweaking my fan speed?

In Dashlaunch:
- Miscellaneous
-- System Info: Shows system info such as your serial number and CPU key.
--- SMC Config Settings: This section allows you to change the target temperature for your CPU, GPU, and EDRAM. This setting is active regardless of what dashboard or app/game you are in. You can also set the fan at a certain percent instead with the fan override settings, but this is not recommended.

I don't know what the ideal settings are for Corona, google it.

I think that's just Aurora wrongly detecting one of the homebrew, I had the same thing.
There are some things you'll want to enable in dashlaunch, such as liveblock, livestrong, contpatch, xblapatch
You can see a list of the recommended options: https://consolemods.org/wiki/Xbox_360:DashLaunch
The download is the first link on the page (https://consolemods.org/wiki/File:DashLaunch_v3.21.7z)

Yea those temps are not too bad, and I've done 50+ RGH3 mods and I've always used a 1-5k resistor not a voltage regulator. Have fun.

I think temps always stay below 70C on my Falcon, do Coronas run hotter? I would've thought it would be the other way around cause they're more efficient. Edit: Granted that was CPU/GPU, I didn't worry too much about RAM, I think it's normal for it to run hotter.

If its working you dont need to change anything

the reason different sites suggest different things is because RGH 3 is so finicky from console to console. Some tricks work better for others

Especially because the length of your wires, and the path they are taking across your motherboard can all effect the glitching process

My Trinity slim runs around 75c in game, 60c on dash, the x360 will shut itself down when it gets too hot anyways.
